I wonder if the Leafs and Wild could hook up here if they were in on Tkachuk pretty heavily.
Makes you wonder...
Makes you think there's now a 99% chance Larkin is going to the Wilds.

Maybe dig a little deeper, it's way more than that bud lol.Because he went to the White House when he won the medal. Like ever other gold medalist ever? It's the people's house. Not the president.
Dylan Larkin is 100% going to the wild then. They must have focused on brady first.
Offer the same or similar package to Larkin
To me, Matthews does not come across as an asshole and is actually a decent human from a good family. Brady and Matthew come across as the entitled, slimy all American white boys that are frankly gross humansMatthews is a little different than the rest of these guys, as much as he acts like he had an attitude in interviews. He likes the limelight, I don't see him enjoying a Florida or Tampa. He would go to a hockey market where the lights will be bright if he ever does leave here.
But realistically speaking with Florida loading up, If I had to take a guess Matthews and McDavid team together in 2 years. Where that maybe... who
Knows
which American is next to be traded?
Larkin, Helly, Werenski, Matthews?
Can the Panthers fit them all in?which American is next to be traded?
Larkin, Helly, Werenski, Matthews?

After seeing all of this occurring why would we want to get Rid of Knies who actually really likes it here and wants to stay?
Unlike Matthews who's 50/50 on what he wants. We should keep players who actually want to be here
Ya play him like 30 games a year against Panthers, Bruins, Tampa and MTLSign Ross Johnston for the league minimum. Need someone like that for select games
They paid him like a 2nd liner, last couple years he’ll be paid like a 3rd liner. I think it’s a great deal for bothSide topic, Good for Bobby McMann on getting that contract, but that's an awful deal for Seattle, continue to pay top dollar for average players.
I said earlier, that franchise is so poorly ran.

Includes assets such as:That Brady return really isn't all that great. 2 of those 1sts are going to be pretty late......
And what are the Sens going to do with the rest of their guys who are entering their primes? Seems like they're going to have to start trading those picks for win now assets unless they look to really blow things up

I don't think they have a choice...they want to keep the fan interests and the UFA crop is not great this year.Side topic, Good for Bobby McMann on getting that contract, but that's an awful deal for Seattle, continue to pay top dollar for average players.

Outside of Johnston we need to add guys who can both skate and play the physical gameYa play him like 30 games a year against Panthers, Bruins, Tampa and MTL
The harsh truth is that it's a franchise that never should have existed. Forever losing money and spinning its wheels on the ice.The endless Ottawa rebuild...sad.
