Pagnotta is the only one that put out that he wouldn't be surprised if Tkachuk was traded, people shit on the guy for it. And it happened.

He told the team that he wouldn't re-sign there. And thus started the process of trading him.

In theory they could have kept him and he probably would have pulled a Marner.

It's been reported Werenski and Hellebuyck have either done it or are going too. The issue is are these guys all gonna try going to Vegas/Carolina/Dallas/Florida/Tampa?

They have almost 8 million left and will probably sign bob to a 1 year deal around 5-6 mill and the rest of their depth will be cheap 1 year deals. Their cap situation is pretty insane considering the talent they have. They have 12 forwards and 6 defenders signed already. The tax advantage is real income what anyone says.

This team will bully tf out of the rest of the east. Only hope for the east is if they can't get a goalie or their defence gets worse since there all 30+

It'd be day dreaming to imagine the Leafs competing with them unless your adding guys like Tom Wilson and Mason Marchment up front and a couple more defenders which is tough to get done.
