With a $7.5 million QO dangling over the acquiring team's head.....might affect the returnI think Nucks will trade BB before Miller, as BB is a RFA after this season.

Exactly. Most importantly Brock might not resign. With a $7.5 million QO dangling over the acquiring team's head.....might affect the return
Yup. 1 year until UFA.....if I'm him, unless it's long term at $7.5 million or more, I take the QO and head to UFA.Exactly. Most importantly Brock might not resign.
Yeah, probably Edmonton .Not sure why the canucks would be interested in having dead cap space barring a pretty big over payment from the Leafs. Seems like they're trying to retool and be competitive. Cap space is pretty valuable to them.
I could see the Leafs getting a third team involved to do it though. Just dont think the Canucks would.
A deal for JT Miller and Luke Schenn in a package makes a lot of sense.
Nope.Miller or Horvat
For
Kerfoot
Holl
Amirov
No way I Include amirov in any trade. Him and Topi are 2 of our most valuable prospects. Trade some 1st and other players but let amirov come to NA and dominate.
Nope.
Why are people so desperate to put the Leafs into cap hell and give away useful players and prospects to do it?
Horvat is tremendously overrated.

He's better than decent. And he absolutely has the ability to be one of the better players from the 2020 draft. Topi and him are 2 prospects that we shouldn't trade.Dominate what? He's a decent prospect, but let's not pretend he is some elite blue chipper.
Horvat is tremendously overrated.
I'd say to this point he's been just ok, production at every level has been good but not great. He's better than decent. And he absolutely has the ability to be one of the better players from the 2020 draft. Topi and him are 2 prospects that we shouldn't trade.
How exactly should he be rated? Scores at a consistent 20-50 pace and does a lot of other stuff well too. Sounds like a pretty good player.
