It's about time to get ELC's from the 2019, 2020 drafts. From 2018 they wasted Sandin's ELC. They gave away Durzi's ELC. I would love to see Holmberg give a significant contribution on his last year of his ELC or Robertson/Steeves do something at the NHL level over the next 2 seasons.
I really like Ned , especially compared to whos available...other than Helle
wonder if Bob goes to one of those teams with a bunch of ++++

as much as we are screwed in net I am still not sure what's even worse - Campbell at $6M or Husso or Kuemper at $5M. The obvious answer is neither but then where does that leave us.

Exactly. Give these guys a shot. I don't care if they struggle the first 10-20 games. Let them get going and it could pay off come March/April & the following year when you have cheap forwards on ELC's.
I just have a feeling we're going to trade for Hellebuyck. Winnipeg is trying to trade wheeler, Scheifele and Dubois , that equals atleast a retool probably a rebuild. Question is what would the price be.

This Husso trade throws a wrench in the goalie market. It seemed like every goalie had a clear landing spot: Husso-EDM, Campbell-NJD, Kuemper-TOR. If Husso signs in Detroit, what now?

Leafs seem they must be making an actual trade for someone random... otherwise I'd try and ship Campbell's rights out and use that to get rights to another goalie. Kuemper I guess even though I know many aren't huge on him. Or Blackwood.
I still don't like the idea of have Kall or Woll as a backup. I doubt they roll with that. They'd have to play too many games.

I’d be fine with a Kuemper - Comrie tandem but I wouldn’t be surprised if Dubas traded for a goalie whether it be Gibson or Murray.
None really. They should be more creative. Keumper I guess... maybe Holtby ... but Leafs really need a stud. Not easy to get but they should be exploring the possibility of a bigger trade for a goalie.
