Coyotes will be going for Connor Bedard next year. Coyotes could be a scary team in the future
Or they'll screw it up like they always do.
No idea how that happened
It's a forum or forum + browser quirk that happens sometimes. Just check your work after posting..
Just remember we lost Andersen for nothing and now Campbell and both those guys were top 10 in every goalie stat lastyear.....oooo and one of our main issues is our #1 goalie

Epic fail!
Goalies do more to win you rounds more than any other position. Why go back to guys who went 0-6? There's your epic fail.

Give me something new.

Andy needs a kick in the ass. He did not pull that shit while Lou was here. Fact.

Would love to see you play 50+ games every year minus your rookie season and 1year he got injured lolol

Facts are hes been extremely consistent but clearly overworked especially if he was nursing a bad knee, that's no joke for a goalie especially one of his size

100% look at every starting #1 goalie who played over 45+ games lastyear.

It's still not true. That puts him 12th in SV%, with the arbitrary removal of guys like Husso (40 games) and Ullmark (41 games).

He's 9th in GAA because both Swayman and Ullmark played 41 games. But the idea that his GAA is better than his SV% already speaks to the team helping him by limiting shots.

And he looks substantially worse in advanced stats. I'm away from my computer now but I know he has not graded out well at all in goals saved above expected, high danger SV%, that kind of stuff. Also of course he's just been wildly inconsistent from month to month so it's tough to know what to expect from him.

I agree he played injured his last year here but there is some truth to him pulling the shoot if he was not 100%. Boudreau said it, O'Dog ripped him this year for not playing game #7 vs Rangers and Kyper told a story of Andy not wanting to play the 3rd but when Lou heard about it and went down to see him, he played the 3rd.

He did it to Bob Murray & Bruce Boudreau and then don Waddell & Rod the bod in Carolina. I don’t think Lou makes any difference here, but nice try.

So it is not a fact that he did not do it the two years Lou was here. Hurts to admit it ??

False our management group over worked him because they had no faith in Campbell only to run with him last year lolol....Andersen came out publicly stating the leafs made him play while injured and he could never fully recover....he didnt give up on Carolina that same injury came back to fk him, .your body never fully recovers especially if you dont give it the time it needs. [MOD]
You should do a bit more research on the matter. Watch the Amazon series, read up what happened this season in Carolina and in 2014 in Anaheim. Dudes a quitter and a bum

I don’t see what Lou has to do with it. If he had a similar problem he would’ve pulled the chute then too. A shit leopard doesn’t change its spots

Campbell has the potential to be a very good goalie. He has all the attributes, except the mental capacity. I don't know if he suffers from mental illness, or just isn't mentally capable of taking the pressure. Go ahead, google Jack Campbell, mental health, and you will find a lot on his struggles. If he hasn't figured out how to deal with this at age 30, it's highly improbable he ever will. Maybe one day he can put that together, but I doubt it, and I doubt that the Leafs want that risk.

I didnt even know about the Anaheim one.
In 2014 in the second round he wouldn’t go back in and forced a young Gibson into the net while his top end team was competing for a cup.
It’s because it’s Anaheim nothing was ever made of it unlike here where if a guy farts too loud there’s a reporter claiming he has Ibs and might need ltir forever.

I’d deal for Debrincat and move Nylander out. Gives Tavares someone different to shake up the second line. Plus can be given term now to avoid a Nylander contract situation in 2 years.

Debrincat is a sniper but small so I am not moving Willie for him. If you want to move 88, it has to to bring in a JT Miller IMO.

You can't hand Kuemper anywhere over 5. Pass.

I hope they're dealing with Petr today. They need to figure that shit out. Then say good bye to Holl.

The challenge of course being the term on Miller. If you are trading for him, you are seeking permission to talk extension before even doing that deal. If you get an extension at a rate we can afford, fully agreed.

JT Miller has no term and is looking for a pay day we won’t be able to afford.

Replacing Nylander with Debrincat keeps the cap down long term while providing a direct replacement.

Doesn’t change the blueprint of this team, but maybe Debrincat has a bit better chemistry with Tavares.
