I love who Fleury was. Is he still that guy? Can he be that guy on the majority of nights, and in the playoffs when it counts? Does he have a little Belfour in him?
When's the last time the Leafs had a starter who has won a round, let alone a cup? His stock went up for me just on that alone.
I think the problem is the thinking that Kuemper won a round. He was just barely good enough that they didn't lose. That was on the rest of the team, not him.
That stacked Avs team won the cup with average goaltending. When Francouz would come in relief/injury that level of play did not drop and neither did the quality of goaltending they received. Kuemper signing is going to be a bad UFA mistake....it better not be Dubas making another UFA goalie mistake.

False our management group over worked him because they had no faith in Campbell only to run with him last year lolol....Andersen came out publicly stating the leafs made him play while injured and he could never fully recover....he didnt give up on Carolina that same injury came back to fk him, .your body never fully recovers especially if you dont give it the time it needs.
