My first thought was that would be someone I could see Tavares working with really well. Plays a feisty, grinding game with enough skill to keep up with him and Willy.I wonder how Brown would work with Tavares.
Interesting name.
Shocked at that Wild Kings deal, seems like Minny settled
Can't wrap my head around this one at allDoesn't seem like a lot for the love Fiala gets around here.
Pick isn't high, and Fabar is a 2nd.
Off-season starts off with a BANG

Thats what happening when you dont take in consideration 7.9M in salary he was asking for...
The trade in reality is 1st + faber + 7.9M of salary you can use to sign a other foward or keep player
Minbesota had to make a choice and for me fiala is not a top 5 player of minnesota... resign Dumba should be their priority right now
how about trade Nylander for two first rounders?
Sounds to me like the Kings might be a good trading partner for the Leafs. They have a lot of forwards and not many spots.
Holl could be a good target for them. Maybe even Sandin if they offer someone really good.
They didn't get 7.9 in cap space. They got a pick and a prospect for Fiala.
If Leafs trade rights to Campbell to NJ and they sign him for $6mm Leafs don't get $6mm in cap space. They get a 4th. round pick or whatever he's worth.
Wish the Leafs could have gotten in on that.Kind of a mediocre deal for Fiala tbh.
Me too, but idk where we'd find the 7.9 million he signed for.Wish the Leafs could have gotten in on that.
