Almost 5 million a year for less than 60 games NHL experience. Much at replacement level goaltending.

He had a fantastic MONTH this season that propped his stats up. Glad we stayed away from this one.

I mean I'd be wary giving Campbell that deal lol let alone Husso

I think with trading Mrazek now, they're not going to want to risk heading into July 13th without at least a 1B under contract. Even if they want to take a run at Kuemper, they'd likely want some degree of insurance in case he goes elsewhere.

Unless they've been making quick progress with Campbell....

That's what I'm thinking. UFA market is looking tough AAV wise so maybe Dubas opts for a goalie who already has a contract or a RFA with more control

It might just be time to crawl back to Jack Campbell and call it a day. Leafs getting out maneuvered on Fleury and Husso doesn’t leave a lot of warm bodies out there if they’re not tuned to the financial reality of goalie supply and demand. Run it back with the group you know mostly intact.

This is the 3rd year out of 4 that the leafs haven't selected in the 1st round evidently, if we cleared Mzarek just to resign Campbell to a big contract I will be pissed.

With the raises this year they can't even run it back, likely to loose one of their top LWs. I really dont want Campbell back. He isn't a number 1 and he will be paid as one. Doesnt have it mentally or physically to carry a starters load
