If Gibson were to have had a career year this year he wouldn’t be available in a trade. At some point you have to trust your eyes. Gibson just didn’t become a bad goaltender over night.

Almost every elite goaltender has had rough stretches and poor years.

You're buying really high on Gibson despite him being a low asset though. That's the point.

Some goaltenders do become bad over night. In Gibson's case, it's been 3 years.

Man, that Husso contract is something.

Almost 5 million a year for less than 60 games NHL experience. Much at replacement level goaltending.

He had a fantastic MONTH this season that propped his stats up. Glad we stayed away from this one.
