What type of RD could a package of Dermott+Mikheyev or Holl+Mikheyev bring back?

I can only really see the team moving Mikheyev and/or Holl in a hockey trade between buyers. Dermott is probably the player out of the three mentioned that would have value to a seller (due to age, contract term and RFA years remaining).

What about Colin Miller as a right shot Dman target? He's out until March with injury, but could be a fit.

We're good for offense between Sandin and Rielly. He's not very good defensively.

Stylistically, I don't see the fit. I'd rather have Liljegren playing. We need to add a big body that plays hard, otherwise we might as well just go with what we got. That's just my opinion though

If the rumoured cost for Kessel at 50% is true I'd do it and look to move Mikheyev as well as one of Dermott/Holl to bring in that #4 RHD.

Obviously Ritchie too to make cap room. Hoping this happens very soon.

Brodie isn't the biggest point generator but he does help transition us from defense to offense.

Maybe. The 1st round pick is obvious, and we can debate which winger prospect the Leafs might have had to include here.

I don’t see it being any of our top 4 prospects. It would’ve had to of been a guy farther down the chart, maybe SDA?

Kessel is having a great year all things considered. If the cost is actually a 3rd I'd love for the Leafs to do that.

I'm sure it's been discussed. But what about Muzzin to LTIR (ya, screw em - everyone does it!) And give him time to be fully healthy for POs and 3rd pairing.

Then acquire a 6M dman

Say Giodano or Klingberg or Vlasic (retained)

I also wonder if PK Subban might come here on a league minimum to wrap things up as a 7th defenseman, and if the Leafs might pursue a Mark Giordano if the Muzzin situation deteriorates too much.

For me it's that both of them are UFA, MAF has won before and could possibly settle down the team as a whole. Jack let's another bad goal in a playoff game and it's gonna feel like "oh crap here we go again" You can let MAF walk or resign for a smaller amount that you have to pay Jack, and you still have Mrazek to play some games. Interesting thing is Mrazek is extremely streaky and I would not be surprised if he starts a few game in the playoffs.

Bad goal you can talk to maf who cost game #3 ( a key game of that serie) vs mtl with the worst goal of 2021 playoff and was not playing game 4, come back game 5 with a bad game and still on bench gm 6...

And a 38 years old goalie you will get result of a 38 years old goalie. Maybe his price will not be high but not sure he will be at a real #1 anymore

Depending on the market for him, I could see him doing a cheap one year to play in Toronto, though he'd probably want to be guaranteed to be at least a lineup regular at the start of the season.
