47 games 2 years ago, 35 games last year, 25 this year. I think there were some injuries that affected things though.

I know one of those seasons he was injured, only because i had to snag him for goalie option in fantasy. I wonder if a change of scenery and a more defense focused team would help, last year was his first with under a .900 save percentage. At the ripe age of 25 I would not hate to buy low on him and hope he can grow his game a little. I cant imagine his contract demands being too high.

I think it's an even bigger gamble for NJ who supposedly wants to be competitive next year and has no one else in net after him

I think Schefiele is the one they move. I don't see them moving PLD without an upgrade at center coming back.

I personally have my doubts that (if Guerin is still here by then) he'll be trading Spurgeon that season.

No. Trading for Faber has more of an effect, as he will be ready probably two years or more sooner than Chesley. Chesley would have just as much of an effect on Addison, or Spurgeon, as Dumba, if he is still around 3 years from now.

I hope we do take chesley if it lets us free up both those contracts in the coming years. Also wouldn’t hurt to have insurance on the right side if Addison doesn’t pan out as anything more than a pp qb.

If Dach is available, we should be in. Wouldn't trade both 1sts for him, but 1st+2nd+something else would be easily palatable. Would imagine Chicago ends up getting a pick higher than 19 though if he's traded tonight.

But this isn't an opportunity Guerin should take lightly. This could be his chance to add an actual top six center to this roster.

Don't do that. One of my coworkers is a Blackhawks fan and they said he's been awful since he got injured just before the world juniors a couple years ago.
