So many variables. They have one game in hand and the tie breaker against us, but we play them. Hopefully thy only get one, but Thursday will probably determine our fate.

It's Detroit that has to lose a game. And they're the ones I'm worried about.

It would clarify rooting interest in that DET-DAL game, though, if the Stars remain further behind.

I'm worried about everyone until they are eliminated. Having said that, Detroit and Phx and LA coming up and finish up with Dallas. Not an easy schedule even if they are home for most of it.

LA can really help us this week.

If we win out as we must I guess Dallas is not an issue now....

Detroit is the only issue left if we win out.. Melrose told the world last night the Jackets would be the odd team out but I don't think Detroit will knock us out, I'm basing this on Detroit’s last ten games.... (3-4-3)

Not a record that looks like a team capable or desperate to make the playoffs to me...

Here is the deal now.

A San Jose regulation win against Dallas would be huge. That would mean with 100% certainty that we would control our destiny (regarding Dallas) even if we lost to Dallas in regulation. A win against Nashville would seal it and no goofy tiebreakers could spoil us.

The Wings are a different story though. Tommorrow will be huge for them as well.
