#8 Detroit Red Wings - 47 points - 6 games remaining (3H, 3A) - @Calgary, @Vancouver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Nashville, @Dallas
#10 - Dallas Stars - 45 points - 6 games remaining (3H, 3A) - Vancouver, @St.Louis, @Los Angeles, @San Jose, Columbus, Detroit
Oh Noes!!! The Stars play at home vs Detroit in the final game of the season?
FACEPALM
So, no matter what happens, an hour after our last game ends, one of our two closest competitors for that playoff slot will be getting two points?
FACEPALM
nobody said it was going to be easy.
I'm more concerned about our schedule than anyone else. We have to figure out how to get 7 or 8 out of the next 10 points. 8 being the preference.
I agree, we have probably the toughest remaining schedule of all the contenders for the final spot. The remaining four road games against teams that are ahead of us or competing with us. It's going to be a tough road to hoe. I think our season will be decided after these next two games. They are beyone critical and it's going to take an unbelievable effort in both to win or get points. Certainly better than the efforts of the past two games.
I know it's just a typo and I hate to be Mr. Grammar Police but I'm pretty sure you mean "beyonce critical."

With all due respect officer,
Put a ring on it.
Well, I was stuck on "row to hoe," but now you two lead me to "ho roe" (didn't she just spawn?).
#5 San Jose Sharks - 51 points - 6 games remaining (4H, 2A) - Los Angeles, Minnesota, Columbus, Dallas, @Phoenix, @Los Angeles - Another team that is not playing their best, but they get some home cooking where they are very good. Also probably not catchable
Blues win, Wild and Sharks looking like they'll take their games too.
We'll just have to take the Wings' spot, then,
Dare I say, tomorrow's game is critical?
Light slate of games tonight. Obviously a CBJ win and a regulation win for Calgary vs. Detroit.
Question for you guys here.
In a full 82 game regular season, does the team manage to still be in the playoff hunt at the end of the season, like it is now?
