Assumed you kidding about the Wings hiring the ELP's keyboard player?
This is their only song that I like, but I'm not familiar with their catalog really.
Responding to this in a more appropriate thread, but you just look at that group and wonder what could have been. Slightly before my time, but it sounds like they rushed to go on tour before they had enough material and that kinda messed up the whole point of the group. This is my nominee for post of the day (POTD). Very true statement, applies to many scenarios.
POTD...Also b/c 'Real Love' was the last song released by The Beatles with John Lennon (posthumously) singing. Lastly b/c 'Blind Faith' is a R&R blues band, an English supergroup starring Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker, and Ric Grech. -per WikiP
& now back to the GDT: I really wanna see Mo splatter Marchand.
im not the biggest elp fan either , like the harder driving rock of the 70s by far . that said this is a masterpeiceAssumed you kidding about the Wings hiring the ELP's keyboard player?

Eric Clapton's group 'Cream' was a better group (just prior to Blind Faith), check them out. Also recommend Derek & The Dominos (Clapton & Duane Allman & co.).Responding to this in a more appropriate thread, but you just look at that group and wonder what could have been. Blind Faith only had one album. I like both Clapton and Winwood, it's a combo of musical geniuses that was too short lived.Eric Clapton's group 'Cream' was a better group (just prior to Blind Faith), check them out. Also recommend Derek & The Dominos (Clapton & Duane Allman & co.).
Blind Faith, like Traffic (also featuring Steve Winwood) are talented & listenable, but not one of my GoTo Top 25 bands. Top 30-40 probably, but mostly Greatest Hits for them.

Derek and the Dominos also had only one studio album and one unreleased. Not really a fan of Layla.
Cream and Traffic are good bands to listen to when you're just chilling.
Some Canadian artists from the '90s. That Super Friendz disc was in high rotation for me in high school.
Star-f***er
With eyes full of gold
I walk into the straight life again
Tell me you're a star
Star-f***er
With eyes full of gold
Like the universe
I stayed out by my window
I chose to follow fate
Fate has only one thing in mind
I chose to follow fate
And fate has only one thing in mind
I chose to follow fate
Fate has only one thing in mind
Tell me you're a star
Tell me you're a star
Tell me
Don't think I wanna be alone now
(Here come the drugs)
Don't wanna be alone now
(Here come the drugs)
Yeah baby just one night
(Here come the drugs)
Oh baby just one time
(Here come the drugs)
Yeah baby just one night
Yeah, so tell me you're a star

I walk into the straight life again

With eyes full of gold
Like the universe

I was today old when I found out Karn Evil 9 is 29m:37sec long.Ver nice. I'm not sure if anyone here can back me on this, but Karn Evil 9 was the Red Wing's intro song on their broadcasts...maybe back in the 80's IIRC.
Early Joy Division!
Peter Hook and The Light will be in the Detroit area this summer performing Joy Division songs. I personally like New Order better, but Hook is my fave bass player regardless of the material he's performing.
