Nate needs to add some bulk, he got manhandled in his only fight. GR does a good job of bulking kids up, even Mazur added some much needed strength and weight. Seeing how Joey, Burger, and Kasper all got up to NHL size, I'm sure Nate will also put on 10 lbs or so next summer.

In any case, has anyone else noticed that Lombardi is on 1 point per game pace if you take away the first 3 scoreless games? 1 point per game for a prospect is my threshold for a callup, if he sustains that for 30 games or so he deserves at least a few games. He's small so I dunno if his game will transfer, but at least he's bigger than Kane.

I'd like to see Nate called up for a few games as well. Getting outmuscled in the NHL is a huge motivator for these kids to bulk up, like Ray for example though he never played for GR.

Not disagreeing on getting stronger, but Nate is a decent size already(6'1", 190 lbs). He, like all first year pros, have to get used to playing at the higher skill level. For Nate, any fight is a bad fight. Yet, that is 80% of the skilled players. Plus, he looks like Larkin looked when he came into the League, a cherubic teen. Nate's game may even be less physical than Larkin (who has learned this over time). Finallym all for Nate getting a call up. I want to see him up for 5 games with Tarasenko and Kane on his wings.

Average height and weight for NHL forward is 6'1" 199 lbs. I like to see players at least be average size. GR will bulk him up, they've earned my confidence in that regards.

Griffins took almost 15 mins for their first shot and then scored on it lol

They finally started to wake up and have a few chances in the last 5 mins

Wallinder gifted one to Becher with a beautiful pass and he missed the open cage

Been a rough two periods for the Griffs so far. Lombardi had a nice breakaway which he almost converted on.

5-2 loss. Was that Gylanders first AHL start? How'd he look? Looks like Nate picked up a PP assist. Assuming they come back with Cossa tomorrow. 3 in 3 is tough.

He didn’t look great, but not totally out of place. Looked like it was the speed of the game that was the issue.

GR was massively outshot though so he faced a lot.

Gylander was 33 of 37 so he didn’t do too bad. B2B is tough let alone B2B2B which I’ve never heard of.
