Can we get Kadri back for one night? He seemed to relish the idea of pissing McDavid off every shift.

With a face like Connor's how can you NOT want to punch it every opportunity you get? He has such a punchable horse tooth face. He reminds me of that super douchie preppy guy you'd see at the Yacht club, with the name Biff, Chad or Connor, treating the staff like shit... :) #horseface97

So Edmonton handed the Bruins their first regulation loss when the B's lead going into the 3rd.
The game was good and Boston played ropeadope when they had the lead. Dangerous game against that offense the oil have.
Tomorrow will be a tough one. I think the oilers are trending as the hottest team in the NHL atm?
Need to bring our A game for this one for sure

Gonna be a fun one against one of the hottest teams in hockey right now.

Rested and at home is going to help us plus coming off a huge character road win last time out while down key players (been doing this all year really).

McDavid went pointless against the Bruins, he's due for a big game lol.

Hopefully our guns show up, we got schooled in that first Edmonton game.

I don't know about hottest team but they're playing better. 6-3-1. They also have still let in 220 goals.

They'll be much improved with Ekholm but not sure where their fans get the idea Leafs are bad defensively.

That's why a lot of their fans bug me. They can't admit Leafs are a good team and it's not debatable.

Playoff success... absolutely fair to chirp about that though.

Edmonton honestly played a great game last night versus Boston, they carried play and limited the Bruins chances extremely well. McDrai didn't even carry, their depth did the job

We'll need to be on our game to beat them. Hopefully with the rest we've had these last couple days and being able to be back home the boys will be ready to take the challenge on

The Leafs traditionally play McDavid pretty well, but some of that was having guys with good speed who were also competent defensively (Engvall, Mikheyev). We've gone away from that direction since they don't do well come playoff time but it'll be interesting to see how Keefe chooses to defend against him tomorrow. Boston did a good job of limiting his touches so they're probably a good blue print to follow. Need to be positionally sound at all times with him on the ice

Incredible marquee matchup Saturday night. Two great teams that should be up for a HNIC showdown.
You know 100% McDavid is gonna show up and pick up at least 3 points, you know Marner is gonna show up and create plays, can you say for sure Matthews is gonna show up??

Our dmen need to have some espresso/red bull cause #97 is gonna be dancing.

Generally speaking, they are uneducated hockey "fans". not as bad as Vancouver but top two in the not very bright fanbase list...

Yeah I don't know about all of that but they certainly don't know as much about other teams as they claim.

I tell you, it's the girt that we really need. It should be a good game, enjoy it. Holl will bring the highest xGirt/60 this team has ever seen.

Dude did you miss the Leafs nation memo? We're supposed to be big dicks to them before the game, then like good Canadians shake hands after the game and say , good game, good game, good game... TBH I don't even know where Edmonton is.. some where near the Arctic Circle apparently...
