If this game is any indication, Dermott is not on the bubble with Sandin. Sandin is clearly the worst of the 6 Leafs' defensemen today.

Holl's been worse IMO

Even though Marner plays well most night...he looks like a 6 - 8 million dollar winger without Matthews or Tavares to do the scoring. He wouldn't sniff top 10 scoring if he had to carry his own line.

I agree.. its been beat to death, he's Robin to a batman. Not sure who coined it first but it's dead on.

Mostly agree with this. I'd say Marner is a 8-8.5m player.

Even if jack struggles it won't bother me nearly as much as Freddy because he's not delusional about his own play.

This roster has become significantly grittier over the off season. Ritchie, Bunting, Kampf and Kase all either finish their hits or are hard to play against. Add in Simmonds and Muzzin and that's a pretty good portion of the lineup dedicated to grinding the other team down.

If Mikheyev is going to miss some time what does that do with our cap space? Can’t he leafs carry more than 21 players?
