Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. and the "interview" with Giroux was a joke. The Senators are playing great hockey, have a nice come from behind win, Giroux is having a banner year, and any of that should have been the lead in interview instead of and end of game incident. Bring it up, sure, but after talking about the actual game. They were so invested in justifying it.
It was funny when Ron Maclean points out where Reilly was cheap-shotted a bit earlier and perhaps fed into the slap shot, that was totally ignored.

Just to be clear, the Sportsnet Hockey Panel clowns didn't react this way to the Joseph-Larkin-Zub-Perron incident that resulted in a guy eating a crosscheck to the head because of a perceived "dirty" play against the Wings. A play that the league deemed so f***ing inappropriate that they suspended the guy for 6 games. And in that play a guy was laying face down on the ice UNCONSCIOUS.
But SHOOT A PUCK AT AN EMPTY NET and all of a sudden he deserved what was coming.
Keep preaching about how you need to get these kinds of plays out of hockey while also talking about how this response was justified. You f***ing hyprocrite loser scumbag pieces of shit. f*** you SN. Gargling Toronto sports fan balls. Why do these f***ing morons own national broadcasting rights? It's unbearable. Worst roster of "talent" I've ever seen. Absolute garbage commentary. You could see Giroux's gears were turning in his head as he was asked that question. He took his time to respond calmly, and down played it knowing the homer Sportsnet panel would be ready to pounce if he dissed Reilly and the Leafs in any way in his answer, so he stayed clear of it. Great veteran move and poise shown by Giroux in a post game interview.

Greig proved just how little it takes to make Leafs and their fanbase lose their minds, I still think 1st star of the game would have been better, but this is still good.
No, but well represented and it is couple of times a year they get to cheer. I don't know if it still goes on but there used to be a few busloads come from the valley, well lubricated prior to the game so you get some loud and obnoxious fans.

The Grieg empty net slapper will help the battle of Ontario rivalry get into high gear. We have to wait until next year unfortunately to see the show.
I like it from the perspective of increasing enthusiasm for the Senators in the region. It would be great if it helped attendance. Maybe it will help Andlauer spend more money on players and the organization. There's too many blue sweaters in our barn.
I like having three good centers in the lineup now. It gives the team more balance and 3 strong lines. That makes it harder for opposing teams to match up and neutralize. Norris looked good last night. He seems to be rounding into form again.
Tarasenko, Grieg & Pinto line looked great. Korpisalo was steady. Now that team D has been shored up, we aren't talking about goaltending very often anymore.
I think we are seeing the coaching bump now. 7 - 2 - 2 and 16 points of 22 possible points in the last 11 games. Someone should have a lot less to talk about now.

Big Sens fan here. I liked the Greig move, liked Sens X trolling Leaf fans even more. Mick and I were debating (in jest) that a bigger troll would have been making Greig thr 1st star (and for clarity, I would have liked to see that if it didn't take away from Pinto, kid had a great game).

My Sunday has been thus far glorious!! I'm loving the full on meltdown of Leaf Nation.
Edit: one of the kids didn't want their hashbrown, so I get another one! Thus day just keeps on getting better!!
Edit 2: @coladin I opened a new bottle of Carolina Reaper hot sauce and used it on the hashbrown - tasty!! Truly a great day so far.
