Teams would have to change how they defend our PP. They just sag off Rielly at the top of the umbrella.

Because they know we aren't gonna take a *low danger shot* from the point and just give it to Matthews or Marner.

Surprised we didn’t re-sign Ben Hutton. Seems like the kind of depth piece who would have served us well this year given we’re in a similar state to when they brought him in last year.

I would’ve had no issue keeping him around as an 8th as well.

Without question. I don't like having young D Men in any serious playoff lineup, especially on a team with so many playoff failures.

We also looked really good last year at this point but a lot of people saw the gaps

Some of those gaps are still there. The team still very soft on forecheck. Lacks size in the back

Do you not find it all eerily similar though? Like, we sort of know how the finishes?

The part of the fan base, whose world gers turned upside down when they read anything negative about the Leafs, keep saying that things have changed. I really hope so, but I'm not so sure.

Yeah I wouldn't take to heart what people say for the most part. If they want to block go ahead. I don't block people I just scroll past its not hard.

Getting to the hockey aspect... not sure how you watched the second and don't think we could add a tough d man and a winger. Won't be easy but it's needed in the playoffs. It's a different animal.

Leafs have been excellent for the most part all season but any team can improve and nothing wrong with pointing it out.

my gripe isn’t with the players today it’s with keefe. Knowing we are without key defenseman, he makes 1 good pairing and 2 shitty pairings. I don’t understand it.
