Why do we never deke on breakaways?

Aggressive goalie like Shesterkin you got to get moving on a breakaway. Probably not beating him clean with a shot

A shot from the top of the umbrella isn't low-danger if you can actually shoot.

My fear is that Dubas doesn't see their defense as many see it. Young defenseman against hard, physical players in a playoff series can be overwhelming.

Yes, the defense is deeper and improved from two years ago, but losing Bogosian IMO was bigger than many knew. Let's be honest, Leafs really should have won that series.

Biega is just not NHL material. Surprised Rubins didn’t get a promotion with his skillset and body type.

Rubins actually looked passable the last time he got a look. Biega is awful, and Dermott isn't good enough to carry him

Dermott has had to deal with a lot of unnecessary two man forechecks on his own. Biega is not having a good game when it comes to dealing with that forecheck, even though our bottom pairing is actually doing quite well in possession overall.

Keep in mind though... This is Biega's first game, at any level, in 2 months.
