Yup. If he doesn’t play lights out all the same issues come to the surfaceWell campbell hasn’t been good enough

what's concering is that Biega probably should have played 8 minutes total in this game with the amount of rest we have between games. He's already over that through 2. Need to ride the top 2 pairs in the 3rd.Biega is out of his league in the NHL
This /\yea the way that 4th line is playing is basically the kind of playoff hockey Leafs struggle with, like against the Bruins.
We didn’t need lights out, we needed average today and we haven’t gotten that. The 2nd goal, no way he should be getting sniped by reeves. The third goal, it went five hole even when he went down to take the low shot, he’s gotta save thatYup. If he doesn’t play lights out all the same issues come to the surface
We havent played that bad but everytime we make a mistake it ends up in our net
Agreed. I think it will always come back to the big 3. Is it possible with 3 x 11mil forwards?I don’t see how they can. There is no cap room for for any meaningful improvement and they needs lots of changes to our D
Manner should be on another team for cap space to fix our D !!!That’s why Marner shouldn’t be on PP1
I can’t argue with that on tonight’s gameWe didn’t need lights out, we needed average today and we haven’t gotten that. The 2nd goal, no way he should be getting sniped by reeves. The third goal, it went five hole even when he went down to take the low shot, he’s gotta save that

Isn't the cap an issue?

I think we need to give Campbell some time off. I don't care if it costs us seeding in the playoffs.
Yup. Something is going to have to give. The Tavares contract and his play is killing usAgreed. I think it will always come back to the big 3. Is it possible with 3 x 11mil forwards?
Goaltenders are apart of choking leadsThey were absolutely awful in the second period, numerous giveaways, one that led to the game tying goal and had very little chances on goal against the Rangers. Toronto has had one good period, but they continue to do what has plagued them this entire road trip, not playing 60 minutes.
Other teams are always gonna score goals, but giving up as many two goal leads that the Leafs have in four of their five last games is uncalled for.
At some point, you need to abandon the "clean exit out of the zone" strategy and just get it out any way you can, especially when the other team is pressing
Inches from clearing the blueline but we keep forcing passes
