I get what you’re saying but have such a hard time reconciling the idea they actually care about what the crowd thinks or feels.

We talk about the psychological makeup of this group like it’s still November 2016 and they’re all still kids.

I think they just struggle with complacency and are cursed with having sudden game breaking skill in their back pocket and kind of know they don’t need to have a blue collar mentality. The Dallas game was a perfect example of how they just turned it off after the first, played rope a dope and a couple of bang bang plays and a PPG here and there they escape with a win vs a team that outworked them 2/3 periods.
 
This is going to sound strange and I know it doesn’t make sense, but I’m actually feeling less confident in their chances against the Bruins with Boston being forced to ice a half AHL defence core. Leafs usually rise up against the good teams, but I fear they are looking at that D core and think they’re going to have an easier time. Boston plays such a good team game and their goaltending is dynamite so I really hope our boys put in their full effort.
 
Big win tonight in a low scoring affair, the winner coming from a Leafs PP breaking through the Broon league best PK. It'll be tough slogging, I've only seen the Bs once this year and it's the same old song and dance of tight checking and borderline fouls.

I've got faith that they can do it.

The last coach I heard use the term "bag skate" was (mo)Ron Wilson. Even then I hadn't heard the term for year's.

There is the pacing which supersedes actual production.

Elite PK -although you might be surprised it's actually the Bruins with better PK tonight (no $11M PK elite unicorn, no Bergeron) .

Also 61 goals? That's boring, Mitch can make anyone 60-goal scorer as he demonstrated when he lifted Matthews.

Not sure how this one will go but I feel like Leafs usually play Boston pretty good the last while. They don't necessarily win but they're usually hard fought games with a good effort.

Hopefully Sammy has a good game and some guys like Knies, Domi, or Bertuzzi can get on the board too.

I think Matthews gets 1 or 2. He always seems ready for Boston.

Ah, yea, that is just a daily show... it kinda sucks. The actual pre-game show for the Leafs game will be on at 7. If it is like last season, it will be very Leafy (in a good way).

EDIT: Be prepared for Kyper and Bourne though. I know many on here do not like them.
