Our schedule after that would be a solid
4-4-1 or something like that. They capitalized on a softer schedule, something our guys haven’t learned to do in 7 years

Sadly this is true. I'm pretty sure the Leafs are barely above .500 the last few seasons against bottom of the barrel teams

First day of training camp Keefe did a bag skate the get the guys huffing and puffing I remember seeing something about that, and about Willy showing he's really fit this year. Most other teams put in an effort day in and day out unlike our guys, so the need for a bag skate is less so these days.NASCAR was a beauty, gave us many laughs watching him do laps around the zone before fluttering a wrister at the goalies chest. Man, those were dark days.
I know there is no way of knowing this but I wonder when the last time any team had a 'bag skate'?

Those days are long gone.
Bag skating may be a thing of the past (though I’m sure it’s still happening every now and then) but I’d pay good money to see these guys under Torts for just a month or two.
I can’t ever imagine Keefe screaming in Matthews or Marner’s face like Torts would. Not saying it would be beneficial; I’d just love to see these guys uncomfortable. They seem so relaxed all the time like no one can touch them.

That’s actually not too bad, 4 teams that should battle for the playoff spots, 1 really good team in the kings, and the team that eliminated them last season.

Playing our divisional rival, who we are chasing in the standings. McAvoy is out, why not take advantage and play your best lineup here ? Keefe pulls some Babcock level shit sometimes.
Yes it's early but these are must win games, hopefully Sammy shows up but he's been atrocious so far.
