Maybe it’s just me but continuing to run back the same thing every year and expecting a different result is crazy. Like…I’m sure the nerd’s numbers tell him they should have won in the playoffs by now and staying the course means they eventually will…but there are actual problems on this team. Effort and engagement problems. Dubas is going to be explaining his inactivity to another team during a job interview in the not too distant future. The 50 contract list doesn't mean much unless the Leafs are trading players for draft picks? Then they'll include some minor league players.

The Habs for example are burning a spot for Price.

There's only 23 players max on an NHL roster, 50 contracts is more than double that.

If he's healthy enough to play, the Leaf will play him? What's the problem? Lol. If he sucks the Leafs can LTIR him again.
