He da guy dat you occasionally hear on EEI that talks like a paloooka and pronounces all his "th's" as "d's".

Drives me freaking bananas.

"Hey dis is Danny Picard and today we are going to tak about da Bruins and wedder or not day should have fired Clode Julien..."

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

sounds like a legit source to me:sarcasm:

I think it's spelled "Logan Mankins" ;) but yeah, torn ACL in first game of the year, played the whole season.

It was actually in preseason...

And I corrected them on the last page. Am I the only one that reads through to the end of the thread before I reply to a post. I'm not being sarcastic, seriously asking.

If that has any truth to it, I would almost take that as good news.

Sorry I don't get your point. How is worst than day to day better?? Or just "Might" be back if we make 2nd round??

Unless you mean better than a torn MCL and gone for season or you're comparing it to 4-6 weeks as was posted..I don't mean to question/answer, just trying to justify your statement .

Whatever the case, I know we both wish him back as soon as possible as do everyone. Cheers and GO BRUINS!!!

No official word yet on how long he is out for, correct?

Hopefully it's not too bad of an injury. Would hate to see him out long term (thinking beginning of next season).

I meant that I thought that he was gone for the year based on the early indications.

If you thought that was scary... Now we're looking at

Chara - C. Miller
Liles - McQuaid
Morrow - K.Miller

If Carlo is out and Krug isn't coming back I don't know how they can hold off on McAvoy.

sorry, was fighting massive lines at Costco buying up every bottle of Pepto

Thinking the B`s call up O`Gara or Cross and then have a long discussion about what if anything to do with McAvoy, if it`s the Sens I sign him, if the Caps, not a chance I burn a year for what will be a dumpster fire of a series IMO

I think it depends on who they play in the first round. If it's the Caps I don't think they should even bother bringing on McAvoy.

Good point.

So why were they so quick to burn a year off JFK's ELC?? If Bruins play Caps, they need a physical presence or two. What will it take to get Randell and maybe another big body up with Bruins???

I could never understand to this day why Randell never got a look after being called up last season. He's big, he handles himself really well and he was scoring playing very limited minutes. Yet he got sent down and never got a look this season. Is he that bad in his own end or what is it? Does anyone have any sort of information??
He did score 6 goals in 27 games but that was playing maybe 3-5 minutes some games and maybe maximum 10 minutes some games..

Wasn't good all around and too slow. I like the line of Acciari - Moore - Nash better then any combo of Randell being out there to be honest.

Yes sir and I can understand why you do. They were great during their winning streak. IF Bruins lost that game to Tampa last Tuesday, we would be out of playoffs today. And a lot was thanks to that line.

But Caps are gonna be tough and physical and players like Vatrano, Spooner, maybe JFK are gonna be useless against them. Caps will steamroll us . Of course that's all if Leafs get a point today and chances are they will. Jackets sucked yesterday.

Why wasn't he called up over some of the call up we had?? He scored 6 goals in 27 games last year playing 6-7 minutes a game and he don't get a sniff?? I mean that makes absolutely no sense to me. Now we need some toughness desperately no matter which team we play and he has that!!! To me, he was just to impressive and popular last season not to even give him a single game!! Something gives and I wish I knew what it was!!

Got a buddy who works in the north end who spotted Krug, said he was seriously hobbled. Don't have any reason to doubt that. Crossing fingers it's still from initial swelling or something.

You should already know the answer. This season in the AHL 1g 9a in 57 games. How does that constitute a call up? He's just a guy that's willing to fight on skates. He was pretty useless other then that and the 6 goals he got. Useless on the forecheck because he wasn't a good enough skater. Wasn't good along the boards. Doesn't kill penalties. So you just want a guy on the ice because he'll fight? Kevan Miller and McQuaid are better fighters and more useful. I get we need grit. He's not the answer. There's no way he'd play over Hayes/Belesky/Acciari. Acciari hits harder then Randell, skates better and can kill penalties. Our 4th line is sometimes on the ice against other teams top 9 lines, Randell will be in over his head. Instead of thinking that we need him we should look to the "character" guys to respond. Backes could've fought someone. People were super excited thinking nobody was gonna take liberties with this team because of him. Anyone on the team could've stood up for Carlo. Why didn't they? Why didn't Chara make a statement on the last regular season game when something like that happens? This team lacks an identity still. I loved the old style of standing up for your teammates. But that could also be influenced by the coaching staff.
