You’re right. Kucherov dangled 8 players (including his own) and passed it 17 feet in the air and it dropped on Raddysh’s stick for an empty net 20+ timesOh my bad, It nmust have been Raddysh that tunred Kucherov into the MVP.![]()

Chayka said there was trade protectionlook I'm not going to sit here and act like I haven't said several times that Iwasn't nervous about the contract because I was but I have to admit it's not what I thought it would be.
8 years is concerning but I thought he'd get 9+
he didn't.
I thought there would be some form of trade protection
according to puck pedia there isn't which is really surprising because that's standard for top UFA contracts
so I am slightly less concerned about this deal than I originally was.
I still want one more piece on defense, this alone is not enough but it is a big add and a big loss for TB
There will 100% be major trade protection. Puckpedia doesn't have a magic inside info on contracts. I’m not sure you can say it’s a big loss for Tampa. Tampa has a history of establishing a limit on what they will pay players and sticking to it. And it’s worked well for them. Let’s see what they do with the extra cap space first.look I'm not going to sit here and act like I haven't said several times that Iwasn't nervous about the contract because I was but I have to admit it's not what I thought it would be.

Thats alot of pressure on McKenna, assuming they take him
Most 1OA guys don't get to come into the league and play with this kind of talent right away........So he's coming into a great situation.....It took McKenna more than half a season to adjust to the NCAA, you think he’s just gonna come into Toronto and be the answer?

what? you dont think playing on the PP with the league MVP might boost a guys numbers? You’re right. Kucherov dangled 8 players (including his own) and passed it 17 feet in the air and it dropped on Raddysh’s stick for an empty net 20+ times
Sergachev seems to be doing just fine. Stamkos just scored 40 he seems fine too.Well, how often do TB players leave and maintain their level of play?
no you got it backwards. Raddysh is the reason Kuch got MVPwhat? you dont think playing on the PP with the league MVP might boost a guys numbers?
Its a lot to get used to. I wouldnt expect him to be a difference maker right awayMost 1OA guys don't get to come into the league and play with this kind of talent right away........So he's coming into a great situation.....
But 5v5 it obviously could take some time to get used to the NHL level.....That's just normal......
“If” is doing a lot of work in this sentenceHad a top 5 PK last year. If we can refind our 5v5 game, keep the PK going and fix the PP......
All sports teams have if's...“If” is doing a lot of work in this sentence
It’s the summer. Hope springs eternal.“If” is doing a lot of work in this sentence
Teams that finish bottom five have more ifs than others though. All sports teams have if's...
Hiller was known as a good pp designer as an assistant with Toronto....
And no team that has finished bottom 5 have never improved the next season right?Teams that finish bottom five have more ifs than others though.
Is the fact he wasn’t an even NHL regular until 27 something that worries you?I think this is your best point in this post.
The player Raddysh was 12-13 years ago is very relevant.
Did it worry Bruins fans with Tim Thomas? Is the fact he wasn’t an even NHL regular until 27 something that worries you?
They do improve. Not usually to a top team in the division. And no team that has finished bottom 5 have never improved the next season right?
Some do. Some don’t. I’ve already said I expect them to be a playoff bubble team which would be a massive improvement. And no team that has finished bottom 5 have never improved the next season right?
I’d go on the Tampa board and look back at his player discussion thread from last season for that answer. So is Raddysh washed now? Asking for a friend?
