You can cap all you want saying u did watch, we both know it’s not true.

Huh. I always considered a journeyman kind of an everyday veteran player with no real strengths or weaknesses. It feels like people are starting to lose their grasp on this concept. PK Subban called Jordan Staal a “journeyman” recently.
Raddysh has only played for one team at the NHL level, however he has been with three different organizations (Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers, and the Tampa Bay Lightning).let me educate you:
a journeyman is a reliable and competent player who has a long career by moving frequently from team to team, instead of staying with one franchise.
He has only played for 1 team his entire career, therefor CANNOT be called a journeyman!!
They sure did, but I have no idea what has to do with him playing very well in that playoffs? Not that I love the contract, but Walman has 14 points in his last 28 playoff games, Raddysh has 4.
That would be rather stunning.Leafs will be better than the Habs this season.
His point, which I can only assume that you're ignoring, was that without their own 1st round DP's in 2027 and 2028, it's unlikely that the Leafs would enter a rebuild. Which means that adding a quality d-man whose age lines up with the core for a reasonable AAV when they've got plenty of cap space for a 5th round DP is a win.I've seen you, and others, post this a few times. What are you on about? The Maple Leafs have picks in both of the next two 1st rounds. link
They have their 1st in 2026, the one that won the draft lottery for McKenna.
They have Colorado's first in 2027.
The one they're missing is the year after that, they have no 1st in 2028. But that's the only year they're missing one. And they've also got two 2nd rounders in 2027. It's essentially a full compliment of draft picks over the next 3 seasons. Given that the one coming up is the 1st overall, they probably have a crop of picks that most NHL teams would happily swap with entirely.
You can say "don't have their next two 1st rounders" If you're not counting the actual "next" draft (the top pick) for some ludicrous reason, and you're also willing to ignore that they also have a 1st from another team. That's about as disingenuous as you can get.
You want to wait for an answer, or should I say it?

They actually have a solid amount of picksHonestly could be worse. Leafs have cap space and have to go all in, they have no picks

still be than Raddysh didHe looked much worse these playoffs actually
Oh. With the way people talk I assume they had nothing. Well either way, team has to go all in considering the roster. Hopefully for the Leafs this isn’t another Jeff Finger or ClarksonThey actually have a solid amount of picks
Uhhh nope. And the underlying metrics show thatstill be than Raddysh did
they literally made the SCF without Ekholm because of the play of WalmanWalman isn’t better in the playoffs than anybody. He was absolutely atrocious
still be than Raddysh did

Because it took him a little longer to establish himself as a top pairing D. Therefore he sucks.Still don't understand how this deal is risky. No one has explained it to me in a way that makes sense.
Got him for nothing but cap space. Next year the deal at the same % of cap is worth 6.5AAV. The year after that, it will be around 5aav and go down from there.
They are not even close to the salary cap and have no major contracts due for 2 years.
he'd better be better...he's getting paid more for longerStart a poll - but we know you won't because it might be locked with votes for Raddysh before you finish posting it.
Montreal had no business winning, and that’s widely agreed upon. Statistically as well. Tampa was beat up, and Montreal fluked out. It happens sometimesHe got beat like 7 times in the series by Bolduc alone.
But hey you can think whatever you want.![]()
That's cool - Walman was eliminated in 6 games against Anaheim with his stellar playoff play.

But Redden was 32 at the time and he was a 35 to 40 point defenceman and he signed for almost 15% of the cap. His highest total was 50 points. 5 years earlier. No contract will ever be as bad as the Redden contract.I still say Redden situation of rangers past. That's top 10 worst of all time.
