No, he was a healthy scratch a lot of those nights. His defensive game was pretty abysmal. He wasn't missing games for injury.He got excellent results regardless of his classification the 2 years prior . Pacing for 40 ish pts w no pp time and solid 2 way play seems a cut above fringe NHLer category .
That was the big difference last year. Bigger even than the goals. He improved to the point that he was our second best defender. But there is a stark, stark contrast between the Raddysh of last season and the Raddysh of seasons prior. They weren't even the same player.
