Lol this what you think your getting?
Where are you getting your info from? I’ve read quite a few Flames posts on here who had nothing but good things to say about him.
[TBODY]
1st Pairingoh okay what’s the Leafs chart look like?
Defensivly-responsiveA defensively responsible top-4 right D?
...yes. Have you not been paying attention?
Tell that to the Pens.Yes we have 3 legitimate top 4 defensemen, but unfortunately to win in this league you need an elite defense core and ours doesn’t even come close even with the addition of Brodie.
Go watch some footage from 2016-2018 when he wasn’t stapled to Gio and let me know how “defensively responsible” he looks.Where are you getting your info from? I’ve read quite a few Flames posts on here who had nothing but good things to say about him.
Prepare to hit a wall with him in the playoff...But it's ok if you think he is the great revelation with 5 millions.Yes?
Leafs man. Players who play there should instantly be considered 40% better than they are.

I can't see Dermott back, we need space to sign Mikheyev and we may need Dermott as the sweetener to take Johnsson
i wouldn’t call it amazing, buts it’s at least serviceable.
Lol. Gio’s right side is literally the only place in the nhl where Brodie looks like a top 4 D man.
The off-season 10% special. How did they have the cap to sign him? Unless it was for a discount.
potentially looking a like a slight overpay or underpay depending on a lot of factors.
I believe they were in the sweepstakes but got promptly put on his no sign list after weird stuff like this started happening:People saying they are out of the "Pietrangelo sweepstakes"... Really were they ever in it? Not without dumping off a big money contract. Hell, they couldn't really even afford to resign Barrie and Pietrangelo is a near Norris level guy. I don't think Toronto is going to be in position to offer something along the lines of $8million+ for him, even if he is a true two-way 1D. Brodie looks like he adds some defensive ability to a blue-line that sorely needed it at a price that while not "cheap" isn't awful and a term that only walks him to his age 34 season. Yeah it has some risk, but it isn't a brutal overpay and it is for a player that fits a need.
First pairing defenseman for a third line winger and a 7/8 Dman. How could they possibly turn down such a generous offer?Now...
Andreas Johnson + Travis Dermott for Mackenzie Weegar (extended) and trade Justin Holl to become cap compliant.
So when they traded Hamilton and put him back on gio’s right side? Yeah I’m aware.but in the past 2 years since then he’s been a stud.
So who is playing D for the Flames?
