So when they traded Hamilton and put him back on gio’s right side? Yeah I’m aware.
You’re clueless actually. But what can you do? Not every team has dynasty defence like the oilers so I understand.

First pairing defenseman for a third line winger and a 7/8 Dman. How could they possibly turn down such a generous offer?
Go watch some footage from 2016-2018 when he wasn’t stapled to Gio and let me know how “defensively responsible” he looks.
Nice signing. Still think the blue line needs another peice. Let’s see what other moves they make
cool bro. people are just losing their shit over a fair contract. just chill and let it play itself outYes water is wet
You're probably unaware of what those last two numbers mean. They are very good in general but they are definitely amazing for 35% OZS against top competition.
Dermott isn't a #7/8 dman.
We sort of saw the start of it last year once Keefe took over right?
The Leafs finished with the 10th best overall defensive numbers (xGA) and 17th fewest goals against from that date to the end of the season, despite half the Dcore being injured for large stretches.
To me, that was serviceable.
If Brodie meshes with Rielly well and we can add more depth to the right side, Toronto can certainly surprise more than a few folks. Hell, with Campbell having finally solidified the backup position and if Andersen has a bounceback year, who knows how well the team is going to do when it comes to goals against.
Gotta feeling the Leafs are gonna stand pat in net so we need Andersen to get back to his 2016-2019 form.
Are you really telling me Andreas Johnsson has no value. Hell even if we had to waive him, im more than certain someone would claim him.
If we need to add a pick we will. And Dermott is a top 6. You can hate the Leafs all you want, but saying he's a #7-#8 is ridiculous. Weegar is really a #3-#4 on a good team. He's not a top pairong guy on a contender.
There's an immense misunderstanding of what a 5/6 Dman is. A 5/6 Dman is just a defenseman you can put out on the ice and reliably expect them to not give up goals. That is a 5/6 defenseman. Any offense they might provide is just a bonus.Dermott isn't a #7/8 dman.
A team goes from having the 5th worst goals against to best defense in the league from 1 signing?
Interesting
bruh we're not 10 mill over the cap space LOL, we're fine with what we have as soon as he's out. No one is talking about pietrangelo if that's what you're hinting atAndreas Johnson doesn't make 10 million does he?
Murray was just traded for a 5th.
