Leafs GM is trading away good assets like his job depends on getting past the 1st rd and maybe the 2nd round.
Dang, hefty-ish return for ROR. Calling Acciari a throw in and considering Gaudette basically a waiver player, you could call it something like ROR for Abramov + 1st +3rd +4th and it isn’t really that outrageous, but still looks like a big return.
Regardless, Matthews/Tavares/ROR is all-star game level center depth.
yeah lol, I meant more so this team will need a re-tool and change. Before that happens we might as well give one more big shotDubas is done, we aren't lol
But that's a never ending do loop. Don't use the picks now, because you may be able to use them later. Rinse and repeat. they used them to improve the roster. If it doesn't pan out, they have future picks to use to improve the roster.
100%. better late than never though, I suppose. Should be a fun spring in Toronto.Dubas' last stand.
Yep, but O'Rielly has more points than Pacioretty. Games played doesn't matter, right? You didn't mention that O'Rielly has a higher PPG than Foligno.Nick foligno age 35 has 23 points and ryan o'Reilly has 19. Let that sink in.
Super underrated part of the deal . Guy is a quality bottom 6 er
It depends what happens with Muzzin, and they could still make some moves...he could get desperate and move Knies and/or one of our young D like a Sandin. Our D is less of a weak spot than in the past actually, but injuries could still wipe it out as is.
The very definition of an “asset” is a “useful or valuable thing”.......but they are still an asset.
You gave up 6 assets including 4 draft picks.
Could be what the Foligno deal was suppose to be if Foligno didn't get injured.reeks of the foligno deal. toronto better hope ROR turns it around.
Point didn’t miss any games until game 7 tho…Your aware they lost to Tampa in 7 games last year without B.Point….if Tampa has home ice this year, Toronto is done.
They still need a muzzin replacement/upgrade, for sure.I'm glad the Leafs made a move but I don't think ROR was the move to make. That defence is going to be overwhelmed again. Good luck to them at least.
.......but they are still an asset.

Jeez bruins should flip nick for a 1st then hes having a comeback year. He has suberb leadership skills too. Unreal.Yep, but O'Rielly has more points than Pacioretty. Games played doesn't matter, right? You didn't mention that O'Rielly has a higher PPG than Foligno.
We’d better f-Kim draft
Hows their blueline?
