Carlo was a good soldier in Boston. Big dude who skated well, covered huge swaths of ice effortlessly, defended his blue line with his skating and a good stick. Good penalty killer who can play a bunch of minutes in a 2nd pair and never look worse for wear, but his offensive game is completely nonexistent. Don’t think he can one time a puck without falling down, and the next tape to tape pass he makes to a forward from his own zone to the neutral zone will be the first one he’s made this year. The amount of times he makes a nice defensive play in the neutral zone and turns over a puck, only to take a stride and dump it in without ever looking for a teammate is insane.

how much of this do you blame on Carlo? isnt Boston just not a good team anymore? we all knew it was coming, most figured it was coming after Bergeron and Krejci retired but we knew soon this was happening anyways

Don't believe the haters. Frustrating at times, sure. Who isn't. Had concussions. Great teammate, solid defensive defenseman with little offensive ability. Keeps it very simple. Good on PK. Good skater for 6'5". Not a banger or fighter. One of the few plus +/- players on an awful Boston team this season. I wish him well.

Who said anything about blame? Im onky talking Carlo the individual player. He has been poor to average for three seasons. Live game coverage on the Bruina board , the guy has been getting trashed for 2 or 3 seasons. They wanted him traded.
