Depends on what you mean by staunch Strome defender. I believe he is a good stop gap until someone else comes along, i dont believe he is the answer to the top 6 long term, but all the people saying he is a terrible hockey player are silly. So ya i can go after someone when all theyve done is tell me im crazy for saying deangelo would never get to the end of his contract here.

If it was Trouba being waived, he would have been the first to comment in this thread.
If he did provoke a fight after the game then yeah he has to go. Doesnt change that he is still a talented player. But just a dumb decision on his part.

This is a bad look all around. He’ll have little trade value at all if he manages not to get claimed, and I’m inclined to believe there are teams with cap space who’d take him. NJ perhaps just to spite us, and he’s from NJ.

I’d wager this likely has nothing to do with outright black and white political views and more likely to do with being explicitly told to cut the shit with the insane stuff and just...not. It’s about protecting the brand.
