It’s time the Sharks commit to a re-build… yes re-build vs. re-tool. It will be a long haul, due to being anchored down to a couple bad contracts they will not be able to get rid of but guys like Burns and Karlsson will provide some excellent leadership to a young team.

My guess would be your list is just wishful thinking on your part and that both those other teams have much better prospect pools from which to deal.
Unfortunately if Hertl has any brains like Iginla did he picks the team he wants and it boxes Sharks in

My understanding is that the player submits the list at the beginning of the season.
I'm sure Hertl's smart enough. What he seems to have is some degree of class.
We should all know soon enough

Lysell would be awesome. My expectations aren't as high as some others. A prospect on that tier you mentioned with a 1st round pick is what I would expect for Hertl.

I also agree that to get Hertl the Bruins better be prepared to lose him and their 1st. That's a tough package to pass on especially if the Bruins don't send back a cap dump.
