Tom Wilson episode against the Rangers

How does this guy play like this with an empty arena against a team with nothing to lose? Wilson is such a dumb f***.

There is a simple, yet barbaric answer to Tom Wilson and his steroid fueled antics.

It looks a lot like Marty McSorley did to Donald Brashear (who didn't deserve it it the least)... Somebody just needs to be willing to take the medicine afterwords when they stretcher Wilson off.

You don't negotiate with a terrorist, you send a team of specialists to surgically eliminate the threat. A psychopath is best neutralized via incapacitation.
Todd Bertuzzi was once willing to take the medicine and do what he did to Moore.

At best I see him punching the shoulder/neck region.

At worst, he was aiming for his face.

How can you watch that and be okay with it? Especially since the dude was face first to the ice and couldn’t defend himself at all?
He was aiming for the face? The face?

Hysterical take.

Buchnevich literally kicks the goalie. So, uh... yeah. A punch to the back I am okay with.

Lol thats a penalty at best move along

Marchand attempted a dirty hit there. He's just as dirty as Wilson. The only difference between them is that Marchand is more calculating like a psychopath whereas Wilson is more impulsive and wreckless like a sociopath.

Why don't the Rangers employ a proper 4th line? What they have now is an embarrassment. Who'd in their right mind would spend a dollar to see Rooney, Barron and Gauthier who adds neither goals nor hits/fights? If they had a Reaves or Johnston type of guy there, Wilson would be more careful.

Watch more hockey I guess? If you touch the goalie everyone loses their minds. Here's 11 minutes of similar plays

Shout out to
1:58 where Bennet slams a man to the ground with a head lock and holds him to the ice.

5:55 where Gallagher gets slammed to the ice.

6:40 where Kreider slams a helmet less man to the ice

7:39 where Pollock hits a man twice to the back of the head with his stick

9:40 where McDonagh (?) jumps up from behind and grabs a Bruins sweater to drag him down from behind

None of this matters because everyone will tell me these are

A). Different

B). Don't include repeat offender Wilson

I mean do you wonder why they are going to tell you that?

That Panarin throw is without a doubt one of the dirtiest plays I have ever seen. Could have ended his career or even his life with that one if not for about an inch of space between his head and the ice.

Lol it's like a knuckle to the cheek and 90% shoulder. It's a little shot, it's not 14 pages of... this.
the person I quoted seemed to be claiming he didn't hit him in the head. The cheek is the head. And it wasn't 90% shoulder.

When you have a dirty player like Tom Wilson, people here are going to react to incidents.

Ok

The NHL just signed a long term TV contract worth around $600 million a year, and a repeat offender (understatement) just went berserk on one of the biggest attractions in the league, who plays in the biggest market in the league. This should turn out well for Wilson.

Mark my words: this will get not a peep from DoPS...
This is just such a poor angle, but of course nobody is going to update the OP because why bother

Rebuilding team bad for playing 2 young players (one in his 2nd game) and a PKing vet on the 4th line. What a take.

Do you understand how dumb you sound by saying one stupid action warrants another stupid action?

That shit is not to the back either. Take the homer glasses off.

Yeah? You see a lot of guys ramming other player's head into the ice and then throw punches on him as he lays defenseless? That's hockey to you?
Definitely understand the righteous indignation of a Bruins fan when it comes protecting guys from falling to the ice in a defenseless manner where they could hurt their head...

Yeah, with his history, give him the rest of the season and playoffs off. I mean, he just donkey punched Buchnevich and Panarin and completely lost it.
