Danny__K said:Bertuzzi has had 1 good season.
Bertuzzi is one of the most over-rated players in the league. without naslund setting him up he would not be having very much success at all.

Thats 2 GREAT seasons, not ''one good season''.

Smyth has more goals than Bertuzzi this year19nazzy said:Shane Doan?
Ryan Smyth?
Adam Foote?
Martin Brodeur?
Bertuzzi isn't the only one not having an amazing season that is on the team...
MS said:In 01-02, Bertuzzi was the best hockey player on the planet in the second half of the season. Absolutely destroyed the opposition almost every night. Finished the season 3rd in league scoring, with the highest points-per-game in the league.
Jazz said:Interesting to note, he's got 1 more point that Iginla.
Bert is still maturing, and being a part of this team will speed up that process.
Yeah on the red mile maybe. What has he done for you lately?Danny__K said:umm lets be honest here, in the second half of the 01-02 season the best player by a mile was Iginla.
kinda like "Big Bert" in the 2003 playoffstoddzilla44 said:I heard, if we ignore posters like this, they disappear.
If he stays on pace this year, he will have scored 25 goals or more 5 out of the last 6 seasons.e-townchamps said:Smyth has more goals than Bertuzzi this year
Bertuzzi should make this team but he vastly overrated...2 years of 30 goals or more...that's it....and the guy is 30
he's scored a whopping 17 goals in 69 games in 03-04
overrated...dissapears in the playoffs

Nah they're here portraying Bertuzzi as some kind of victim.incawg said:crying and whining, as usual.

we're not talking about Draper....who SHOULDN'T be on the teamtoddzilla44 said:And Kris Draper has 1 goal and 7 points this year, but Bertuzzi's pick is more questionable isn't it?

wasn't he also meant to score goals?Jovanovski = Norris said:What are you talking about?
Bertuzzi was our #1 reason why we overcame a 1-3 game deficit and beat the St. Louis Blues in that 7 game playoff series. Not only put Jackman and MacInnis out of commission, his physical presence changed the flow of the game and destroyed the gameplan of the St. Louis Blues. Their psyche was altered and every time the Canucks dumped the puck into their corner, you could smell the anxiety that their defense felt. We won games 5, 6 and 7 in a row because of Bertuzzi and the rare physical acumen he provides.
When Bertuzzi is on, his game is unbelievable.

he's the reason you choked against Minny

Wouldn't it have been more politically correct to OMIT Bertuzzi?
I don't see how this can be construed as a political move, frankly.
Maybe he is just a hell of a hockey player.
