How does Schwindt rate?
Likely a good bottom 6 option at best.
How does Schwindt rate?
Both go to market in my opinion. Not a chance either one stays in Calgary. Especially Huby with Walsh as his agent, they’re gonna want to cash in.
In the upcoming years I can see him becoming the better player, but now? Huberdeau has outproduced him for the past 4 years by a clear margin.Tkachuk is better than Huby ainec. But it's a massive haul for CGY.

Tkachuk before this season has never been a PPG player, his highest total before being 77 points.
Huberdeau has been on a 90+ point pace since 2018.
We not only traded for a worse player, but one that had an even more significant outlier year than the one we gave him up for.
Pretty much this. You guys wanted a threat on the PP. We got him now. Tkachuk is a menace.Weegar and Huberdeau were done here after this year. this is better long term but makes Florida worse this season. They weren't going to resign, smart move. But it's a sad day. Thanks for everything Hubie.
I was telling ya'll the entire the time that Huby is gonna get traded but you just wouldn't want to believe... the audacity to doubt me...
Huberdeau and Weegar weren't signing in Florida. Zito bit the bullet for the future. This makes absolutely zero sense to me. Losing Huberdeau is a huge loss.
I fully believed it.I was telling ya'll the entire the time that Huby is gonna get traded but you just wouldn't want to believe... the audacity to doubt me...
Tkachuk isn't known for being much of a postseason performer either..Huby wasn’t going to resign for less than 10. Get out of here anyone defending him. He is what he is - a softie that can rack up points on Tuesday nights in December. I was a fan of Weegs, but in some lines of work you make that mistake in Game 2 and you aren’t around for Game 3.
I got a weird feeling Klingberg is joining this team. You have to imagine Zito has more work ahead of him.
Replacing Weegar's minutes is no easy task and there isn't anyone on the roster that can do it. Forsling and Ekblad are a great starting point but Gudas is a BIG drop off from them. No chance this team touches ice with those as the top-3 defenders going into next season.
.......right?
Barkov is still soft as a butterFlorida just went from kind of soft to really f***ing annoying real quick.
Well then that’s good his new right hand man isn’t.Barkov is still soft as a butter
imo the Panthers paid Schwindth or that 1st round pick too much but in a year or two.. who cares.
The Panthers got better and younger, can't really complain.
Verhaeghe - Barkov - Denisenko
Tkachuk - Bennett - White
Balcers - Lundell - Reinhartt
Cousins - Luostarinen - Hornqvist
Forsling - Ekblad
Carlsson - Montour
Staal - Gudas
Points ain't everything. Tkachuk is a complete player that has a better 200-foot game and plays a way tougher/grittier style than Huberdeau. Something this team has been lacking from their star players. I and many others have said just that for a verrrry long time.In the upcoming years I can see him becoming the better player, but now? Huberdeau has outproduced him for the past 4 years by a clear margin.
