So your saying we could get the 20-30th overall pick for a guy just playing his first full season after developing for 4 years and playing lights out even though we are in a cap crunch need cheap contracts and going for it ourselves????? Please can we give you a developed asset for magic beans likely not ready until for another 3 years….or maybe never

I don’t think Toronto should move him. He’s definitely worth more than just the 1st. I also didn’t say I’d only offer the 1st. Not sure why you’re offended about what I said.

Toronto
do you think Murphy for Liljegren is that far off? Seems completely fair to me but maybe im missing something in liljegren?

Well let’s see, in his Rookie year he has put up more point than Murphy ever has. He is 22 vs 29 and oh yeah he will be making 4.4 million next year vs what 2 at the most. Yeah I’d say your way off base.

This deal would benefit both sides quiet well:

To Toronto: Dickinson, Briesbois and a 2025 5th

To Vancity: Liljegren, 2024 2nd and 2023 4th

1) learn to spell quite
2) watch hockey and know what you're talking about
3) try not to stir up threads with ludicrous offers

Now that Durzi has been traded to Arizona for Montreal's 2nd round pick next year what is the final word on whether LA was correct in choosing Durzi over Liljegren?

2023
Liljegren or Durzi??

Durzi's quite overrated. He cost his team in the playoffs.

Didn't the Leafs bench Liljegren for several games in the Playoffs in favour of Justin Holl who now has no value and they don't want to resign.

I am always interested in these types of threads where the hometown fans hype up the value of a diminished asset in hopes of somehow using some non-comparable to inflate the value of their asset.

I think we are going to find out because I don't think he and Timmins are long for this team.

Most fans view Toronto's defence needing to be improved. This guy couldn't make their top 6.... I don't think he holds much value

You don't have a clue when it comes to the Leafs. maybe try actually watching them

That's more of an indictment on Sheldon Keefe, who has done his absolute best to f*** Liljergen's development up

Lilly sat because the pressure on the org was to win now and the coach wanted the vet in over a young player. Lilly also had a really rough last 2-3 weeks of the season which kind of played into that. When he is given consistent playing time he is a very good dman

So if the org wants to win now, why not give him consistent playing time if he's a very good dman? Something is amiss in your assessment. ;)
