I just think he needs the reps to gain more confidence. He has all the physical tools you need. Hopefully Keefe won't be behind the bench next year, he didn't manage Lilligren effectively
Definitely agreed on that.

It's kind of wild though because when Keefe had him in the AHL he seemed good at managing him but Holl Love too strong

Lily is 5X da player of Holl skill and skating wise .. but it was good he did get some playoff experience this year .. although he was not very good against Cats .. but that is to be expected for a rook
He wasn't getting consistent minutes and his role was up in the air TBH. I think the problem that was he is one of those players if he's out of his routine he sucks which is fine and he takes a long while to recover.

It was the same with Rielly, when he is out of his rhythm he is not that great.

It'll forever be baffling that Keefe decided the guy who needed to sit after the TDL was Liljegren instead of Holl. Mind-numbing decision and for all the faith and loyalty Keefe showed, Holl repaid him by being by far the worst defenseman in the playoffs in round 1, and was not much better in round 2.

Tim's usage started to get me really questioning Keefe as a coach. The guy plays well all year and is in the top 4 a lot of the time and then he's scratched come playoff time, it just made no sense at the time and still doesn't
But then who comes out for our R-rated superstar pucking moving crease clearing goal scoring #0, so good he’s above being a number 1 defencemen Justin holl

Can’t forget about grandpa gio

McCabe who was dreadful these playoffs? Maybe not so bad in the Tampa series, but unplayable in the Florida one.

I blame Keefe for his strategy...he should have been very clear that other than Rielly, the other dmen shouldn't be jumping into the play like the way McCabe did...he was trying to do too much.
