There is always someone that will drag the more talented guys if they aren’t scoring enough. The stats are what they are. To the eye test McLeod looked like he played well against Carolina. Some of it is that styles make fights. Carolina played a game that McLeod can play - straight ahead and simple. Limited decisions and predictable. Even if someone said he was a top three forward for NJ in the playoffs that doesn’t make him any sort of star given how mediocre they were against Carolina.
