Randy's made mistakes for a couple of years now. How is this morphing into Plattner looking to sell speculation?

It's like the trade deadline happened and everyone lost their minds.
The amount of crying from fans over trading a 25 year old middle six winger when Celebrini is having the best 18 year old season since McDavid and Will Smith is on a 16 points in 17 games run has been hilarious. Absolutely zero perspective on what actually matters.

Shoulder I think it happened a few weeks ago, which makes sense to not take faceoffs
I'm almost 100% positive that Smith is just taking the right side OZ faceoffs. Celebrini was 13 for 22 tonight, I think, so not like he's avoiding the dot.

Weren’t you saying that 25 year old winger meant SJ won the Mier trade 😂

And seriously, if you watch games from around the league, I don't know, maybe everyone wouldn't agree, but I'd say Randy's still better than 75% or more of the play-by-play guys out there, flubs or not.

We all know Vlasic is bad at this point of his career, but the past few games he's looked on another level. I loved the Avalanche goal the other night--who the hell knows which one--where he got dragged chasing his man literally out of the Sharks' zone, past the blue line, and a second later someone scored down low. It would be bad enough if rookies were out there playing like this. How can Thompson not take his spot on Tuesday??

I think that's the system. Man to man down low means sometimes the D chases the puck to the top of the zone. Wingers need to stick to the point man if he's pinching and center needs to win his battle. Celebrini got manhandled by MacKinnon on his two low goals.

Man If we ignore the first chunk of games where Smith was getting his legs, he's been insane. He's 4th currently in the calder race. Incredible.
I wonder if Smith joining the race will have any affect on Celebrini chances of winning.

I know I've had a running "this broadcast brought to you by Tahoe Blue" joke probably since Drew came back

Its not insane to say that Mukh has been our best defenseman over the last 5 games or so, right? Not that being the best defenseman on this team is some award worthy thing, but he keeps this up, he will establish himself as a legit NHL D. Which we could certainly use.
Not insane at all. I went last night and watched him carefully...

He was spectacular. Calm, composed. made smart plays. great length, shut down plays. Fed transitions. Not flashy or sexy, just smooth and smart. The only areas I want to see improvement were skating with the puck (which he did some, but I think he can more), and shooting. The lone meaningful goal was off his shot, but he had a few more good looks and passed them up. He ended up with just one SOG, when I think he coulda had 3 or 4.

Overall though, looks like a keeper.

(On the flip side, man I wish they had moved ferraro instead of walman. Ferraro is such a mess out there like a chicken with his head cut off. Lots of energy and fight, but seems to constantly be letting key passes through and leaving guys open).

Also, can we pleeeeeease sit goodrow? I love the guy, don't get me wrong. But good god, it seems like every time he is on the ice, bad bad bad things happen. And that cant happen for a 4th liner.

I watched the Warriors game before the Sharks game and they had temporary announcers for Women's Empowerment and Randy and Drew were welcome relief after that.
