We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.
What This Means for You:
- If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
- If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
- Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
- Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. The notion of a player being untouchable is nonsense.
This is very true, but Subban is a player, and is already at his age considered our # 1 guy....hope he signs...
Del Zotto deal is apparently 2 years at $2.5 per. Sounds really low for Del Zotto. Hopefully this will help PK get done.

We would just create another big hole though in the team. No Habs D prospect has the potential Subban has right now and successful teams need "#1" dman, guys who can play 22-24 minutes a night at both ends of the rink.

Another stud D-man makes sense too.. but what team is going to be willing to do a lateral trade? Odds are we'd take a lesser player with an extra asset...

For someone who's as emotional a person as him, it must be KILLING Subban to watch his teammates train hard afer a long summer while he has to talk numbers.

He's not worth Doughty money. I've said it over and over again, anything over 4.5M per season is an overpayment... He should get something very comparable to what John Carlson got, that's his value to a tee.
Considering Meehan is MDZ's agent, Bergevin is probably loving that number.

Except PK is twice the player that MDZ is. Sure MDZ has some great offensive numbers and he moves the puck well, but we are talking MAB-caliber defense skills at this point...

It's kind of a possibility when you think that Gainey is in Dallas and that I'm sure he'd like to bring in PK... Team needs a #1 defenseman too.
That or he has no intention of trading our future star defenseman. I'll go with the ladder.
