How does this Chase card promotion work? Can I pay the first installment with Chase and switch cards?

The payment instructions say you can not switch credit cards at all (whether Chase or not). Don't know how serious they are about that...

"CHASE Credit or Debit*, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, Discover and American Express all accepted. Credit card used for payment must be valid through February 1st, 2014 and may not be cancelled prior to that date. Multiple cards will not be accepted. You may not change the credit card being used to make these payments after the initial charge has been processed."

Don't know why the surprise and anger over row 1 gallery. I was row B in old Garden, moved to 3, no choice. Row A was moved to 2, option to buy 1 if desired I believe.

So row 1 was added (moving EVERYONE back a row in entire level), specifically to be a premium seat. And they are going to charge an obscene amount. Has been that way from day 1.

They say it, but it is bogus. I have changed cards in the past.

I have changed cards also in past. They would rather have a different card that works, than the original that might not (limit etc)

That's true...they have always intended Row 1 in the upper bowl to be a premium seat. And if they can get people to pay $135/$165 for them that's their prerogative. But as nice as these seats are, last time I checked they are still not club seats with waiter service, are 20+ rows from the ice, and only have direct access to the disaster that is now called the 8th floor concourse. None of that really screams premium to me. Bottom line is it's a $50+ or $60+ premium per ticket to have nobody in front of you.

Im in the blue seats....was 47 a seat this year....next year 49 a seat. My playoff tickets are 75, 95, 125, 185 I believe. the no 10% discount sucks a lot

Also going to be charged ofcourse for 4 home games, although this year we will only get 3....if we get in the playoffs lol

So it's basically the same price for the playoffs as it was last year except the ECF is up $10 and the SCF is down $5. Pretty good for the playoffs considering the other prices I've seen.

Yup, And i'll sell 95% again. Such a shame since I used to go to 35 games a year, but with the climbing prices and my salary not climbing it gets tough. I requested to be downgraded last year and my rep told me to write a letter giving reasons and stuff, did that I never heard back from her. Thanks Mandy.

I moved from section 105 to 210 row 1..from $132 to $150. As you said, no waitress svc, no cluib access and a croswded concourse. I find the TV and the glass to be distractions as well. Legroom is not as great as they made it out to be. I wasn't going to renew at $150 let alone $165. Let them sell these to corporations. View is like watching from TV but my old 105s were much closer to the action and more fun to be at the game imo.

Yea she is horrible, completely horrible.

I was so spoiled to have Steph before her and she did anything for me, couldnt have asked for anyone better. She's still around but i think she was promoted.

Stephanie was awesome. She left to go work for the Jets and Giants. She is a manager in the suites. I have Nicole now, and I am not exactly impressed with her. After Steph left, I had Gretchen for a few months, she seemed pretty good.

If the Rangers have a bad year next year, do you guys think the $53 and $56 seats will still be in demand?

I am afraid to renew because I don't plan on going to all 41 home games like usual, and don't want to take a loss if the team underperforms again.

Are you sure? Cause I e-mailed her last year(march 2012, just checked) and she replied back with an answers, unless in the past 12 months she left?

Just curious what other peoples experiences and opinions are with Gretchen as their rep.

You wont have a problem selling those seats next year. If you are looking for someone to split half your tickets with, I don't think you'd have a problem finding someone on this board either, I have mine in 209 for next year but I could probably be talked into splitting a pair of the cheaper tix if they weren't obstructed.

My "good" pair was in 115 in Row 21 on the aisle closer to the goal line last season. As these were going up from ~$120 to $132 I practically fought with the Rangers to let me "downgrade" to Row 1 in 214 at $125. I honestly thought the Row 1 seats would have no price increase for next year as they are already grossly overpriced for upper bowl seats. This $10/$15 hike is nuts...so I'll be dumping mine. However, I'll be keeping my Row 2 trio as it will remain easy to move them with the seats directly in front going for $53 more.

For those looking to move upstairs or upgrade/dwongrade, I think there will be plenty of seats to do so for next season. We keep waiting fir the "real" team to show up but folks, this is the real team. A team that can't score - just like last season's except we blocked a million shots, King stood on his head and we got lucky winning 2 game 7s.

This is a mediocre team charging over-the-top dollars. There will be a semi-mass exodus next season if we don't make the playoffs and win a couple of rounds. I've been a STH since 1993, tickets were not always this easy to move when the team is uninspired (and prices were no where near as high as today).
