I paid for mine. If anybody is even thinking about not paying for them, contact me and I will take them. I could always use more seats because I split mine with 3 other people.

deadline was yesterday. I'm sure there's a grace period, but still the ship has sailed

I really wish those $10 Meyers parking coupons were $10 concession vouchers instead

I said I was interested in getting extra tickets for the playoffs. What are the chances of that happening? Slim to none I'm guessing.

You might be able to grab a set. I got extras the last 2 years. The only downside is that they were lower bowl off to the side of one of the goals. I passed this year on requesting extras

The last few years they provided a password to buy extra playoff tickets at presale at ticketmaster prices.
Prior to that you were able to buy them at Season Ticket Holder face value directly from the Rangers.

Just got a recorded msg from Adam Graves reminding renewal. That's just for early bird, right? And early bird is nothing special for this year? The real deadline is in May, correct? Thx

correct. all you get is a "chance" to win 5000 or 10000 if you renew early.

I'm kind of surprised they really gave no incentive to renew early this year.

The carrot is a chance to win $10K in account credit. I have my doubts about these prizes, I've never heard of a single winner for any of these contests for renewing or for taking survey. Probably all goes to Jim Dolans's illegitimate children

 Agreed, I'll keep my cash for an extra month, rather that than have a minute chance to win the ten grand. Hopefully someone here who does the early renew wins the prize.

I am going to renew though, at least for one more year just to see how awful the bridges really will be in the 200 uppers. Tickets are still selling well this year, so the demand is there as of now, wonder if it will fall for next year if they miss the playoffs?

The problem for 2014-15 is preseason comes back. On top of another expected price hike I'm thinking there will be no meat left on the bone to make it worthwhile to be a STH, and there are virtually zero perks left. We'll see when we get there but right now I'm not optimistic about 2 years from now

I learned today that the summer fanfest is gone for good. Seriously, I may not renew after next season for that reason alone. hello stubhub

stubhub isnt the answer though.. it will be for early season games next year, but these games are all selling like hotcakes on stubhub. every game ive sold on stubhub this year has been in the 48 hour window before the game and i have never gotten less than 95 per ticket for my 50 dollar seats

You can't base anything on this year's market. There are 24 home games instead of 44, and reduced capacity at MSG on top of that. Next year (41 games) will be a more accurate test of the market for tickets at these prices.

That is a good point, could hurt us when those bad west teams have to come in once each next year. Looking at Dallas, Phoenix, Colorado, Nashville, and Calgary.

Could help us season ticket holders if we get two home games with the Wings next year. I want to say the Wings game last year was my highest selling regular season game.

Well that just ruined my day.

I had to go alone for a few games this year, and decided to sell both my tickets, and buy a ticket in the lower bowl a few times.

If you check at the right times, you can find tickets below face value

If the Rangers don't make the playoffs this season, you can definitely say goodbye to a lot of the casual fans who suddendly became excited after last season. With a full season next year, I can see ticket prices being more normal instead of selling for around $100 a game to get in.

Of course, things can turn the other way if the Rangers make another legitimate cup run, but who knows.

Ticket prices will remain at high demand as long as it brings a lot of your casual fans who want to see something exciting at the Garden.

I have to agree with those who say the secondary market will not be AS strong as this year. Especially for the less popular games. However, the division games might get an even higher premium with the teams coming to MSG only twice each. Well, at least for the Flyers, Isles, Penguins. Not sure on the rest.

As for this year. The only game I have left is the Devils on 4/27. Just for giggles, I checked the ticket-exchange and the CHEAPEST pair of tickets is posted for sale @ $175 each. It is awfully tempting to post them and just watch on tv.

Lower bowl is a different animal. Below face, when face is about 3 times what it should be, is still waaaaaaay too much money.

As someone who only buys on the secondary market I agree with this. Last year's playoff run and the limited number of (Eastern conference only) games combined to raise the prices to insane levels for this year IMO. Believe market will settle down next year.

Don't see any reason the market will drop next year. It was crazy last year and will be again next year. Sure, if you want a reasonably priced pair to see the Panthers come to town you'll be fine. But otherwise expect more of the same.

I'm not really surprised. And while I'd much rather have the 10% off playoff games, those delta vouchers are actually worth something to me as I'm a Delta frequent flyer. THat said, the most recent voucher the rangers sent was only for 2 people rather than 4.

hence why i said early season games. everyone knows the early season midweek games against a team like dallas will be under face. but even for the florida game this year i got $95 per ticket. that is insane.

another poster mentioned the lower bowl. you can almost always find regular season tickets for the lower bowl at or below face. upstairs is where we're seeing crazy resale numbers.

The highest demand will always be at the low end. Your $50 seats are golden, but when you start going into rows 3-14 at $79+, you're talking about a lot of money over 41 regular season games. STHs will be selling a higher proportion of tickets to justify the cost and buyers will not increase their total spending by much and that will put downward pricing pressure on the mid range priced seats. Still do-able, but not much left on the bone. Resale value for the lower bowl is permanently f**ked
