I'm interested in getting some season tickets for the first time. I've inquired a number of times but not getting any follow up.. Was wondering does anyone have a reps direct number you can provide me to contact and see what's available and cost.. Would be much appreciated thanks!!

I had my upgrade today. I currently have 4 tickets Row 1 Gallery seats in the corner and 2 in 100 level in the corner. I was looking to dump the 2 in the lower level and get all 6 together in row 1 gallery.
I was able to get 2 more in my current gallery section but they are separated by 2 seats from my other 4. I can view available seats that are $135.00 or more face value.

Anyone who is interested in what's available in the $135 or higher price range can email me @ [email protected]

Can anyone tell me how inflated the tickets are in the past few years and going into this year compared to before the reno?

The year before the renovation began (2010-2011), the STH price for the 400's I believe was either $36 or $37. After the first year of the renovations (where the lower bowl was renovated for the 2011-2012 season), the 400's were $39. This past season (2013 with the upper bowl being renovated), the 400's were basically broken into 3 different price points with the upper 200's center being $53, upper 200's corners being $50, and the "new" 400's (behind the goal) being $47. This upcoming season (last phase of the transformation being completed), the upper 200's center is $56, upper 200's corner is $53 and the 400's are $49 IIRC.

Hope that helps. Don't know the 300's pricing so maybe someone who had seats there could help you out.

EDIT - Left out the obstructed 400 pricing. They were $29 last season and I don't know what it is this year but I'd imagine it's a $2-3 increase like the other seats.

Can anyone explain the point of having tickets in different sections?

The reason for me is that I share 2 seats in one location with 3 other people. We also share the playoff tickets evenly so I only got every 4th playoff game. I decided to buy additional tickets for myself so I would able to go to every playoff game. There weren't 4 seats together in the section I share with the other people so I bought them in a different section.

How many row 1's were available and where? Centers, corners or behind the net? Does it feel like a lot of people dropped um? Any good value lowers, like in the corner for $140?

Section 114 has 3 seats in row 15 @ $136. They are in the middle of the row. There are also 4 seats beginning on the aisle in row 15 but they are on the aisle closest to section 113
The next row, 14 are $175 per ticket.

WOW!!! That's a serious amount of Row 1's. Clearly some broker had 15 seats in 210 and dumped them. Those should be some of the best seats in the building but $165/seat is steep. Even the $135's got dumped pretty hard. Lets see how long they last through upgrades. You would think the Rangers would take notice as the market is clearly speaking. I'm sure they won't though. Wish you could see the whole map even though you cant 'downgrade' so we'd know the rest. Whats your tenure? 40 yrs?

Hey guys, for those of you who used the online relocation tool today, can you confirm that once again this year you are limited to moving to seats in the same or more expensive price points?

My tenure is 33 years.
I would hope at the least if the market isn't strong for row 1 gallery seats they would hold the line on prices for next year.

I think the row 1 gallery seats are a better value than 100 level rows 15 and higher. The Gallery seats have a better view, nobody blocking your view, much more leg room and the bonus is a tv to watch all the replays. I dumped my 2 tickets in section 115 for 2 more in the Gallery.

Don't know the 300's pricing so maybe someone who had seats there could help you out.

When the Rangers won the Stanley Cup, Greens were $23.

Just before the 04-05 Lockout, they were $40. Dolan promised that if the Rangers did not make the playoffs, prices would be reduced by 10 percent. So even though there was a season w/o hockey, he kept his word, and for the 05-06 season, greens were $36.

Here is the price breakdown by year for old 312. At some point, section 312 became a "center ice" section, and commanded an extra two or three dollars per game than end-ice 300's.

05-06 $36
06-07 $43
07-08 $49
08-09 $56
09-10 $60
10-11 $60
11-12 $63

For 12-13, my buddy and I were relocated to 222, Row 12, on the isle between 222 and 223. Price was $73.

Those seats should be available for upgrade. I recommend that anyone considering isle seats in Row 12 DO NOT TAKE THEM. They make the plexiglass obstructions in Citi-Field look great.

The photo was taken from one seat in... The aisle seat is MUCH worse. I am also 6'5", so if you are of average height, even the handrail will block a considerable amount of ice.

I am now seated elsewhere. (Can't advise of inventory available, as I did not handle our upgrade. 1979 tenure, btw.)

Cheers!
-Doug

Sections with no row 1 seats available
211, 215, 216, 217,220, 221, 223, 224, 226 and 227

It should be noted that in sections 223 and 224, there is no Row 1. The media platform was located where Row 1 should be, and will be DAP seating this season.
