I'm shocked at how many row 2's and 3's are available... Sounds like the renew rate couldn't be anywhere near what the Rangers are pushing...

The rep who downgraded me said 91% in the upper. Right now there are 6 row 2 seats in 208 available (I think that's the first section of the $82 row 2).

I dunno what those guys were thinking raising the gallery row 1s by 10%. There are row 1s available in practically every section. They should've lowered them by 10% instead.

Agreed = they are way over priced! They should be priced at $100, Why is row 2 $50 cheaper?

Row 2 seats are the best value in MSG!!!:handclap:

Row 1 rinkside is priced a lot higher than Row 2 in the lower bowl. The premium is to have nobody in front of you.

I sat for 1 full season in row 1. The plexi glass top is right in your sight line. The "extra" legroom is taken away by the TV.

My point is that MSG has miss priced row 1 seats. Is it worth an extra $50 per ticket for the TV? The guy behind mien row 2 paid $50 less per ticket & had a perfect sight line to my TV.

He was a great guy and a big Ranger fan. He invited me to a game that my friend had the row 1 tickets. The view & leg room in row 2 blew away row 1. Did I say it was $50 per seat per game cheaper! OUCH :amazed:

My source told me that lower uppers were renewed at 94%. If your source advised a 91% for the whole upper bowl, then it is safe to say that upper uppers were renewed at ~85%.

What it really means, is that on average, a pair of seats in every other row in lower uppers was not renewed, and about 4 seats in every row in upper uppers was not renewed.

If each row is 20-25 seats, then a 90 percent renewal implies that a pair of seats opened up on each row....

Cheers!

How did you work your downgrade...did you notify them prior to your call in time to note your account?

yes..at the time renewal payment was due..I paid the renewal and let the rep know I wanted to downgrade and she called me yesterday at the time of my upgrade.

I thought I had to wait until all the upgrades are done. I was pleasantly surprised and got what i wanted.

Who is your rep and how loing have you had tickets?

I tried to downgrade last year and she gave me a REALLY hard time. Made me write a big letter explaining why i needed to downgrade and then i never even heard back. ****ing joke.

I would be interested in upper corner high row, like 227, as a new subscriber. Does anyone think I would have any chance of getting this? I don't want to give them $500 and then have to either have them hold it or buy more expensive seats than I want.

Anyone know the price of half season tickets compared to full?
This was last year's pricing:

yeah..the very high renewal rate maybe a bit exaggerated..right now, there are 35 available in 210, 50 in 209, 51 in 208, 37 in 227, 29 in 223, 28 in 222, 20 in 225, 23 in 226..you get the idea

Can you advise where those open seats are located? I would assume the majority in Rows 11-14 (last rows of the 'lowers') and then 20+ (last rows of the uppers).

Cheers!
