So are these same people going to try to stop the New York Yankees from using their derogratory term? Just look up what a Yankee is, and then make your own decisions if it is not like Indian/Braves/Redskins. But God forbid, we do anything that refers to Whites in the same fashion.
I am studying to become an architect right now so I can sue the blue jays over animal rights

Yankees is a slur for southerners to northeasters, but not a slur for northeasters to northeasters. In fac tthey proudly took ownership of the term ans used it to label their own culture and religion - in fact in some ways it is a manifrstation of white pride.

Yankee is not in any way similar to those terms. Like... not even a little bit.

I'd say the Jays have a legit beef, considering how downright AWFUL some of the strike calls have been in this series... especially when Andrew Miller is in the game.

Yes. The facts back this up, and it's a little ridiculous.

"In Game 1, Indians pitchers got 4.2 extra strikes to 0.9 for the Blue Jays. The Indians were the beneficiaries of four strike calls on pitches with a less-than-25 percent strike probability. The Blue Jays got one.

The gap in strikes above average in Game 2 was larger: 3.2 extra strikes for the Indians, 2.7 strikes below average for the Blue Jays, though neither team was the beneficiary of a strike call on a pitch with less than a 25 percent chance of being a strike.
"

And

"In Game 1, Bautista struck out on a curveball that is historically called a strike 1.4 percent of the time.

Though some may think this is the product of umpire decisions, pitch framing may play a role.

Indians catcher Roberto Perez is one of the game’s best pitch framers. He ranked fifth out of 76 catchers in the majors in called strike rate above average (a stat that levels the playing field for those who play fewer games). Blue Jays catcher Russell Martin was good, but not that good. He ranks 21st.
"

Pitch framing is basically "fooling the umpire into believing a ball was really a strike." This seems like a good argument in favor of automated balls and strikes calls.

Gotta take it out of the umps hands. If we're still talking about umps after the series Cleveland is in the World Series and the Jays bats didn't get it done beyond a doubt.

my stats show an equal number of people are insulted by New York Yankee as are Cleveland Indian. That is, zero.

(these stats do not include those pretending to be offended because they have a need to feel righteous and sunk to the level of making a public spectacle of themselves over it)

You know the guy who filed the injunction is a survivor of the residential school system, right?

The Indians have been putting a defensive clinic out there. Lindor is the most athletic shortstop I've seen in years and that catch Crisp made on the Donaldson hit might have change the outcome of the game. Last series, the Rangers terrible defence gave the Jays offence extra chances to capitalize on scoring chances, same cannot be said of the Indians this series thou.

The Texas defence was horrible. That was a huge choke job.

Cleveland is getting the timely hits. Suggesting a -5 run differential is some extraordinarily large gap is being unreasonable. Jays bats have gone cold, credit to Cleveland. They were actually better off throwing a bullpen game today as opposed to having Bauer out there and it showed. Let's not act like the Jays haven't been in the games though as the pitching has showed tremendous compete. Those guys will be here next year too as well, but of course the reactionary group is contemplating mass bandwagon jumping.

That was risky trying to get him kicked out but had we won, we made their BP throw all those innings and play 4 of the next 5 days and only down 2-1. Could have been huge. The Donaldson AB was the deciding factor of the game. If that drops, it changes a lot potentially or if he drops it.
