I'm talking about relievers

There isn't a better combo in the league

Kershaw has more saves in the playoffs than Miller.

But seriously, Allen isn't that amazing. He's definitely a reliever that can get himself into big trouble, specifically via the walk and home run.

It's hilarious how nobody has moved to do **** during the times they've come to town during the past few years. But nope, now that the media and spotlight is firmly on this series, we needed people to get their panties in a bunch. I do think it is racist, but even the Indians themselves have acknowledged that by how much less and less Chief Wahoo is used over the years and how much they have been phasing it out. In a decade, it'll probably be gone.

If you are willing to admit that it's racist, why is it a problem that people are trying to get something done about it now? Why wait a decade?

And people have moved to make changes plenty of times over the years with no results. They're trying to do something now, while the spotlight is on, because that's the best way to draw greater attention to it and actually effect change.

Like most excellent relievers, Allen bends but doesn't break

He was just as good as Osuna was this season

Only because Osuna gave up an abnormally high amount of home runs to lefties despite generating an insane 30% soft contact rate. One of Allen's weaknesses is the fact that he tends to lose his control, this was evident when he almost blew game 3 against the Red Sox. Granted he did not, but the element of the free base is there compared to Osuna or Miller.

Except Indians is a pretty offensive name and very offensive logo to Aboriginal/ First Nations people. I am proud that our politicians are making this an issue, because no one in power has given a **** what Aboriginals think for centuries now.

I don't want to turn this into politics, but there are much more pressing issues facing the indigenous peoples of Canada than the name of a professional sports team.

I'll be more impressed when they try to tackle some of those, rather than this which is mostly for the sake of optics. I guess it's better than nothing, though.

My only issue is, this is playoffs, its supposed to be a fun time for fans, you have the whole off-season to raise this political issue, let the players and organization focus on the game.

BTW Cleveland only scored 4 runs these past two games, there is still a chance we may win this series if our hitters wake up again. Pitching is on our side (maybe not so much for game 5 tho).

I would take Estrada over Kluber in Toronto any day of the week. We smacked him around in Toronto 17-1. Different game on the road.

Doesn't scare me.

There are different things you can nitpick about both pitchers. Truth is, they both were just as good this season

Osuna gets into trouble because he gives up more hits than Allen and he doesn't have the strikeout ability that Allen has once they get on base

I'd be tempted to start Upton today over Saunders

Really!!!

You think that one move is the issue?

Saunders is 2 for 6 in series thus far. He isn't our issue. If everyone was 2 for 6 in our lineup we would be up 2-0.

Saunders isn't the issue. Bautista striking out 3 times in a game and leaving 5 runners on in game one was the issue. Martin and Travis killing rallies with double plays.

Timely hitting as a whole is the issue. Taking the walks. Advancing the runners. Hit and runs. Stealing the base. Manufacturing runs. That's the issue.

Replacing Saunders with Upton doesn't help.

They need to get the first win and feel good about themselves because they're getting Kluber again at home in game 5. They really made it tough on themselves when they got real good pitching in Cleveland and couldn't do squat at the plate.

I'm calling it now.
We win tonight, and Bauer gets yanked early. His finger is going to cause him trouble with command, and we'll take advantage early.

Still anyone's series.

You talk about advancing runners, stealing bases, manufacturing runs. You must then realize that Saunders isn't helping as he's 2 for 6 but has struck out the 4 other times. He doesn't make pitchers work anymore and his no speed on base either. He's also a defensive liability on our team

Bautista and Martin have been worse this series than Saunders (I think everyone has mentioned how poorly they've been) but this doesn't excuse Saunders either

Yeah pretty sure Saunders only has hits or strikeouts in these playoffs. But he's been useless for the past three months so not much more you can expect.

Honestly I'm in favour of changing stuff up a bit tonight

Bautista 0, Donaldson 5, Encarnacion 3, Tulowitzki 6, Martin 2, Upton 7, Carrera 9, Pillar 8, Goins 4

Yeah didn't get get stitches? You'd think he'd have a hard time getting a grip, so to speak

You are "proud"? Seriously? Doesn't take much does it? I would like to see some surveys of how many actual natives even care about this.

I find people are way to sensitive these days and you can not do/say anything without being racist, sexist or some other "ist".

Personally I would not care if there was a team with some sort of "racist" logo or name towards me, but that's just me I have bigger things to worry about.

Personally I do not see anything wrong with the name or logo, its cartoony but I guess this is 2016..oh well.

Anyways... BJ's (wait are we allowed to call the Blue jays that??) Err the Blue Jays better win tonight.. Looking at you Wiff-tista.
