Yea wawa is popping off all the time. Its been in my area of south jersey my whole life pretty much and it just so convenient.

Its nice that the food is in the area of between fast food and restrutant like food too. And all of the workers generally like working there as well. They have great benefits and even paid for my friend who worked there their whole graduate program at university.
Down here, Wawa is planning food only locations, no gas. That’s how popular and successful their food has been.

South Jersey
Did they always have gas?

Wawa near me just started making Pizza. Not that I would order Wawa pizza for dinner, but you know, at 1 AM? I figure it's gonna happen at some point.

A lot of them have gas but it also depends on if there are other wawas in the area ect ect

There is a Wawa under construction that is within walking distance of my house.
There was one that opened about 2.5 years ago within walking distance of my house. Well, it's about a mile or so. We now have more Wawa's by me than we did where I lived in Jersey the last I lived there. I still think the closest one to where I'm from is in Hackensack, which opened at least a few years after I moved out of Jersey in 2011. Actually, I think there's one that opened in North Bergen 2 or 3 years ago, from what I've heard.

They were always a South/Central Jersey/PA thing, but now they've expanded to Florida (among other places in between) and North Jersey.

Most of them have gas stations, but there was the one in Wall Township near Manasquan on route 35 that didn't have a gas station and still doesn't. That's one has been there almost as long as I can remember.

You know what really grinds my gears?

Reaction videos of reaction videos! I have about 1% interest in a reaction video, let alone a video of some random person reacting to some other slightly more well known person reacting to a video.

Aren't they the videos where it shows the person's head in one box and then whatever video they're reacting to in another box? And you get to just watch the person giggling and laughing and making stupid faces the entire time?

There's a guy on youtube and I love a lot of his videos and content, but half of his videos seem to be these reaction videos. And I'll notice he posted a new video and I'll get excited, until I see the thumbnail of him making some goofy, stupid face and that's when I know it's just a reaction video and to not even waste me time with it. And then I'm bummed thinking I'm gonna watch something I really want to.

I love YouTube. There is so much cool information available.

I subscribed to "Fly Tyer" and "Fly Fisherman" magazine for decades and learned a lot from reading articles from extraordinary fly tyers when I was younger...but actually seeing them or their patterns tied on YouTube is a complete nother level.

YouTube is such a worm hole , suck of time for me . I start off watching something like Toffoli highlights and end up 3 hours later watching 0-60mph videos of vehicles I am interested in buying . With videos in between consisting of anything from music videos to debates with people I am very interested in ( Jordan Peterson , Ben Shapiro , Mat Walsh , Tucker Carlson ) .
I’m pretty sure it’s not allowed to be discussed anywhere here but I really like listening to what Jordan Peterson has to say .

There is a getting YouTube’s tied joke in there somewhere but I’m tired and can’t put it together right now.

You gotta have a perfectly balanced setup and virtually no wind for me to cast those. Even then what the hell am I catching - sunfish?
Trout love these. I haven't tied many #24's. I usually only go down to #22. But I have caught plenty of 18 to 20'' trout on #22's. I wanted something smaller for the bugs Iam seeing being eaten right now.

I fish them on very long leaders usually around 15 feet with 7X tippet which is 2.5 lb test. Typically I'll only cast to a rising fish. I position myself above the feeding fish and stop the rod tip high so the leader piles up 3 or 4 feet above the feeding fish the current straightens out the leader to the fish...that way the flyline never goes over the fish and it never sees the flyline....if he doesn't take the fly you let the fly drift past him and gently pick up the fly so as not to spray water.

When the fish does take, the key is a gentle hook set. You just gently rise the rod or you will break the fish off on the set.

I enjoy reaction videos done by folks who are very knowledgeable about the thing they are reacting to. It's more like a review than a reaction at that point though.
