The parking far away from the pump wouldn’t shock me but when she started counting her strides to try and compare it to how long she thought the pump hose was, then I knew it was a joke lol. After seeing some of the absolute idiots that post on social media I 100% believe somebody could be that stupid.
Could also be fake though.
That’s commitment to the hunt. Props for that. And having to get out of my car during hunting season to pump my gas is a major project.
First I have to take my boots off put them in an air tight container. Pull out a pair of shoes or flip-flops, put on a pair of rubber gloves and get out of the car gingerly as not to touch anything I don't absolutely have to...then pump my gas...then get those shoes off while sitting on the car seat with my feet dangling outside the car into a garbage bag, take off the gloves that also go into the garbage bag. Tie everything up air tight. Then spray down with scent eliminator. Once in the car and one more time at my destination a good thorough spray down.
Petroleum smelling boots and clothing is not conducive for trying to get close to animals. And it doesn't take much...just walking around a gas station is enough to make your clothes stink to high heaven. Might as well just wear a neon sign saying stupid human entering the woods.
I don't use any scented items in my house...not soap, shampoo, detergent, deodorant...nothing.That’s commitment to the hunt. Props for that.
When my wife was pregnant with our oldest she developed super smell. She could smell differences in fresh vegetables and uncooked fresh meats and really subtle stuff. It was impressive. So many things bothered her after that.I don't use any scented items in my house...not soap, shampoo, detergent, deodorant...nothing.
Free and Clear detergent, Sure unscented deodorant, Dove unscented soap, couple of different kinds of Neatragena shampoos that are virtually scentless. Or baby shampoo as an alternative.
Always grew up that way with my Dad doing it also..I actually think it has caused a sensitivity to perfumes for me. If I get in elevator with someone heavily perfumed, I will breakout in hives and have trouble breathing. I literally can't walk down the detergent isle in the supermarket. My eyes will water and I have gotten short of breath just walking down the isle.
Funny that I used to smoke though.

I'm not a car guy, but I hate to wait cashier at the grocery store for their service. I'm so happy we are living in the time line when I can do it by myself with self-checkout. Hope stores will continue to use it, because some dishonest people can ruin it.Ehhhh, after living in New York for so long, where you pump your own gas, I gotta say that I prefer it this way. Sure, the valet service of it all is nice, but it's so much quicker doing it yourself. I hate sitting there doing nothing while I wait for the one overworked guy to come do something I can do myself just as easily.
OR changed their law so the great state of NJ is now the only state where you can't your own gas. I've never been there but I assume the reason for the law is that all NJ women are too beautiful to their own gas.
This message is shown to me as a quote from my message. I'm confused.Learned a new term last night.
Scrotox. Botox for the balls.
It's a thing in the gay community apparently.
Had a good chuckle over that.
I originally quoted this, but it tacked it on to my other post, and I thought they were too different put together.I'm not a car guy, but I hate to wait cashier at the grocery store for their service. The success of the Wawa convenience store-gas model (QkCheck is on it too in my area) is remarkable.I never pump my own gas. Its great and service is always fast especially dealing with the GOAT Wawa.
Wawa is the best
The success of the Wawa convenience store-gas model (QkCheck is on it too in my area) is remarkable.
The first Wawa in my area came in about 10 years ago, and it was an instant juggernaut. Since then another Wawa was built about 7 miles up the they HWY. And 2 other Qk checks on the same stretch of hwy as well.
And I just saw another Wawa being built on a parrallel hwy just a couple miles away.
I was in one of the Wawa's recently around 10 pm at night, and I think it was a Thursday, but it might have been weekend, and it was absolutely hopping.
Did they always have gas?Yea wawa is popping off all the time. Its been in my area of south jersey my whole life pretty much and it just so convenient.
Its nice that the food is in the area of between fast food and restrutant like food too. And all of the workers generally like working there as well. They have great benefits and even paid for my friend who worked there their whole graduate program at university.
I don't. I hadn't money for for a long time and lived specific life. And when I finally got finances for, I found no desire to have and pay bills, pay for fixing etc. I live in a good place with very good transport system, different stores and markets, and a lot of different deliveries. The urban environment here is very pedestrian-friendly. And I really like to walk. And pretty cheap taxi. I need 20-50 bucks per month for taxi.I originally quoted this, but it tacked it on to my other post, and I thought they were too different put together.
I was in agreement on the dislike of waiting in lines.

Do you not own a car at all?
Suburbs of NJ we def need cars, but I do put a lot of miles on my bicycle, including my commute to work.I don't. I hadn't money for for a long time and lived specific life. May be when I will build my own house outside the city I will change my mind.
I saw some videos on YouTube with little suburbian streets in NJ and NY area. And they are looking great, Larchmont or others. Like some painting from Thomas Kinkade pictures. Some of them don't look cheap)Suburbs of NJ we def need cars, but I do put a lot of miles on my bicycle, including my commute to work.
